Santa Ana captures stormwater to recharge its groundwater aquifers. Eighty percent of the city's drinking water comes from those aquifers, making rainwater capture a future drinking water supply in a dry part of Southern California.
The OC Streetcar is being delivered in partnership with OCTA and regional partners. It will connect Santa Ana residents to parks, libraries and the civic center area.
The Public Works Agency runs an asset management program that identifies infrastructure reaching the end of its life cycle, allowing crews to work proactively rather than reactively.
