75 students from Van Nuys High School, Westbrook Academy, and Renaissance High School for the Arts, together with filmmaker mentors, spent this semester exploring themes of Civil Liberties and Civil Rights, and then made documentary and oral history projects in their own communities as part of Film Independent's Civil Liberties Filmmaking Program.
