This is a monument to failure. Or at least boredom.
Most of these songs come from projects that I was trying to put together at some point, and never released them on any of my previous track collections because I was always hoping those projects would eventually materialize. Since my style and abilities are constantly evolving, though, most of these arent really anything Id even be interested in at this point.
Track 1 was supposed to be part of a Tonkatsu DJ Agetarou megamix, which instead resulted in the songs Mono no Aware and Sadboi Anthem.
Track 3 was supposed to be on a nu-metal industrial covers album called Harder Than Fuck.
Track 4 was supposed to be on an album called Rap Metal Aint Dead Until I Say So comprised of beats made from looping segments of metal songs.
Track 7 was supposed to be part of a tie-in to a visual novel I was working on starring a girl with the rap persona Acid Girl.
Track 6 wasnt necessarily part of any specific musical project, but the RESPECT THE GREATS video series was meant to be... a series, instead of just one video on Shintaro Kago.
Tracks 2 and 8 are just some errant songs that I released recently and didnt have any particular project to place them on, while track 5 is the opening theme for upcoming episodes of Stealing Your Dads As If It Was Easy.
With the release of this little mixtape-EP, I believe that Ive officially released all of the songs that I had laying around on my computer to Bandcamp with the exception of those on the one last unfinished album that I still intend to complete.
