The 2022 edition of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival officially kicked off at the iconic Queen Victoria Market on March 25.
We took a visit to the Convenience Store, a retail offering that mixes the high and the low, from prawn cocktail-flavoured chips with Yarra Valley caviar to Brick Lane's beer icy poles. Next, it was over to the market's E-shed for Maximum Chips, a (potato) gem of an event. This salty celebration paid homage to the hot chip in its multitude of forms, from French fry to crinkle-cut.
