This is my entry for the Orchestral Tools #DiscoveryCompetition. I tried to write the music for a scene in which a child discovers a new world for the first time, and all the wonder and excitement that comes with it.
This track was inspired by the wonderful Soundtracks of John Williams, especially his amazing soundtrack to Jurassic Park. While I've tried to pay homage to his style before, this might have been the first time I really tried to emulate a lot of his style, and it was just as difficult as I expected. He truly is a genius when it comes to orchestration, and this might have been the hardest-to-write track I've ever done. Nonetheless, I'm very happy with the result, and I hope you enjoy it, too!
