This is an announcement video for an epic nostalgia-themed readathon and watchathon event set to take place during the entire month of April 2023! There are readathon prompts, watchathon prompts, and BONUS PROMPTS. Some of the bonus prompts include reading and watching host recommended books and movies plus fun activities like building pillow forts, taking instagram pictures, listening to old school music, and eating nostalgic snacks!
This is a team event (being on a team isn't REQUIRED but it is strongly encouraged)! Do as many or as few prompts as you want! Each prompt completed earns you 1 point/1 temple pendant for your team! The three teams are: Blue Barracudas, Silver Snakes, and Purple Parrots.
The goal of Old School April is to celebrate the 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s! But you don't have to read and watch old things only! You can read NEWER books that fit the nostalgia-inspired prompts as well as watch more MODERN movies and tv shows with a retro vibe or flair!
