Reading books from black authors is something we should be doing all year round and not just in October (or February in the US) but I wanted to take this opportunity to take stock of the books that I've read and those that I have on my TBR and to make sure that my channel reflects the importance that I place on diversity and equality in all areas.
My channel is absolutely not large enough to be detracting from other creators but needless to say that if you are looking for book recommendations in this area then you should be checking out black creators rather than another white reader. I have a fair few black creators on my subscription list but bizarrely only one British one making BHM content this month so please do check out @heroinescorner and her fantastic readathon this month:
