Dr Jamie Q Roberts is a lecturer in the Department of Government
and International Relations at the University of Sydney. There he specialises
in international relations with a focus on international security
and popular culture. But more broadly, he is a ‘first principles’ philosopher
who is interested in the true, the good and the beautiful. He thinks
that the best insights into the human condition are found in literature:
Shakespeare, Conrad, Larkin and Tolstoy, to name a few. The beautiful
that has stood the test of time contains the true and the good. He also
writes music, science fiction, runs quests and is building a vast, immersive art environment (seriously).
