The Mob Reporter here with news of three border stops revealed this week in Australia ā the Bentley business, the countryās largest seizure of one commodity, and largest found stash of another, more than a billion dollarsā worth. Thatās billion with a B.
Iāll start with the graceful lines of the 1960 Bentley S2, a vintage ride of luxury and style. It arrived in Port Botany in Sydney earlier this month and X-rayed by Australian border agents who saw something suspicious. They had a closer look at the car, found plastic bags hidden behind the headlights and called in the cops. But there was plenty more in store. Watch to find out.
