A vinyl tag to celebrate the Beatles and their fans. All formats and media welcome!
The Questions/Prompts:
1. Show and talk about your favorite Beatles acquisition of 2025. It can be a record, a collector’s item, a Beatles product, etc.
2. Show an artist/band on the Apple label other than the Beatles or solo Beatles. When possible, show the label.
3. Beatles lyrics: show albums that have a song with lyrics:
a. Which you particularly like.
b. Which make you cringe.
4. Display a book(s) you would recommend to other Beatles fans (up to 3).
5. Anthology controversy: Did you buy the 2025 Anthology boxset in any form? Discuss your decision.
6. Name a solo Beatle’s song that you would have liked to see get a full “Beatles treatment.” All 4 Beatles working together to build up the song. Show the album on which the song is featured.
7. If you have one, show a Beatles picture disk. Are you a fan of picture disks, yay or nay? (If you don’t have a picture disk, colored vinyl will work.)
8. For some reason, you are condemned to listen to just one Beatles compilation album for the rest of your days. What do you choose? Show the compilation.
9. Do you feel there is an underrated Beatles song? If so, show the album on which it appears and explain why you feel it is underrated.
10. Beatles Singles: Show a Beatles 45 with a cool pictures sleeve or a picture sleeve from a country other than where you reside.
Bonus/Alternative Questions. If you feel like answering more questions, try these. Or, if there is a question above you cannot answer (or don’t want to answer) switch it out with one of the questions below.
1. Show a favorite Beatles record on the Capitol label.
2. Is there a solo Beatle’s song that you feel is just as good or better than any Beatles song? If so, show the record it’s on and talk about it.
3. Do you have any Beatles EPs? If so, show one or two of them.
4. Is there a particular Beatles song or album that brings back a specific strong memory for you? If so, feel free to share. If not, relate a time when you first realized you were becoming a Beatles fan.
