Bathroom Makeover #shorts My Green Closet 2023-02-10 | The first room transformation of our DIY sustainable house reno - taking this bathroom which had a very old vanity and mirror and giving it an update. It's a fairly small space so I wanted to keep it light and airy. Some ways we kept this bathroom renovation more eco-friendly (and more affordable) were by:- Incorporating secondhand items- Using leftover (deadstock) tile- Painting with no-VOC paint- Using natural materials like wood where possible- Installing a water-saving toilet- Cleaning and re-caulking the bathtub instead of replacing it (while the design fells a little dated it's overall fine and in good shape so we made it work!)#bathroomdiy #bathroomdesign #homeremodel #diyrenovation
