In this video, I showcase a new project that serves as a daughter card for adding transmission temperature functionality to a 99-02 GM instrument cluster that did not originally come with this feature. This daughter card replaces the need to add 5 jumpers, a cap, and an IC to the board. The IC used is a SA5775AD. Drop in the board and enable transmission temp on the EEprom, and you are ready to go. This board can also replace a SA5775AN or GM PN 16196398, wherever used, because the DIP pins are all routed.
