AMD announced the 9850X3D. This CPU is basically an overclocked 9800X3D. It clocks up to 400 MHz higher. It still has the same 8 cores and 16 threads. Outside of that, there is nothing overly exciting about it. According to AMD's own slides, the 9850X3D will be 3% faster than the 9800X3D on average. AMD did not announce the rumored 9950X3D2.
