Battle Arena Toshinden is a fighting game for the PlayStation. It was one of the first fighting games to boast polygonal characters in a 3D battle arena, rather than the traditional side-to-side fighting space that had been popular since Street Fighter II.
The PlayStations first 3D fighting game, Battle Arena Toshinden features eight distinct combatants armed with weapons. Some characters carry swords and clubs, while others crack whips or slash with claws. Each warrior can also use special attacks, throws, projectiles, and juggles to keep their rivals at bay. Similar to Segas Virtua Fighter series, characters battle each other within a ring and can roll to the left or right to avoid attacks. In addition to the single-player game, which has you battling a series of computer-controlled opponents, the title also features a head-to-head mode for competition against a friend. Four camera angles display the action from a variety of perspectives.
STORY:
Eight travelling fighters brought together by a common destiny now meet at the Battle Arena Toshinden!. Many years have passed since this tournament, known only to those in the underworld was last held. Some fighters have come for personal glory. Others have come to fight for those they love, but all will do their best to be victorious in this tounament that will decide their fortunes...

Rayman is a side-scrolling platform game starring a whimsical character with fists instead of arms and feet instead of legs. Rayman embarks on strange quest to save the Great Protoon and his tiny followers from the evil Mister Dark. Guide Rayman across 70 cartoon-like levels while facing over 50 bizarre baddies trying to put the limbless hero out of commission.
Along the way, you must attempt to free singing creatures called Electoons from their cages. Dont expect a walk in the park, however. The enemies have been designed to learn your playing style in order to defeat you. Rayman offers CD-quality sound effects and music, vibrant vistas featuring 65,000 colors, and four layers of independently scrolling backdrops. A memory card with two blocks of free space is required to save progress.

STORY:
Embark on a strange quest to save a worlds Great Protoon and rescue little Electroons from imprisonment. You see, the world of Rayman relies on the Great Protoon to maintain balance and harmony for every living creature.
The problem is that the evil Mister Dark has decided to capture him (it?) to throw the planet into chaos. This is where you come in! Guide Rayman through 70 cartoon-like, side-scrolling levels facing over fifty bizarre characters trying to put you out of commission.
Along the way, free the Electroons who have been forced into cages by the baddies. Dont expect a walk in the park, however. The enemies will actually learn your playing style in order to defeat you! Dont just stand there gawking, the Great Protoon awaits!
GAMEPLAY:
The Rayman character is perfect for little children, though this game is easily difficult enough for adults. 60 levels for Rayman to conquer and none of them is easy, not even the first levels, because you have to get used to controlling Rayman.
Sometimes the difficulty can be quite annoying, but luckily, if you get by a clown holding a camera and let him take your picture, you can save your progress in a level. On the world map theres also points where you can save after completing a level, it doesnt take much space in you system memory. A problem is, that when you completed all levels in the game, you still havent beaten mister Dark.
To get to this final level you must find each of the six cages of Electoons in each of the 60 levels. So if you cant find one cage, completing the game is impossible. A very good thing in the game is that the further you get in the game, the more abilities you get. For example, Rayman can hang on an edge, helicopter, use his glove to beat enemies, that sort of thing.

This game was developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim Entertaiment.
NBA Jam T.E. features 2-on-2 fast-paced and unrealistic basketball. Following in the tradition of NBA Jam this game is filled with super dunks and has no out-of-bounds. Also featured are 9-point plays, rookie and all-star teams, injuries, and fatigue. A variety of power-ups allow: monster jams from anywhere, speed increase, power increase, unlimited turbo, increased 3-point ability, catch fire, and a bomb that flattens all of the other players.
There can be anywhere from three to five players included from each of the 27 NBA teams. Overall more than 120 players are included, some of which will have to be unlocked before you can use them. The T.E. in the title stands for Tournament Edition, which is what sets it apart from other games in the series. In the tournament all power-ups and cheats are disallowed.
Aside from the usual secret characters and cheat modes, the T.E. also includes four new additions you can individually enable from the special options menu:
- Hot Spots are randomized zones on the court that reward extra points (up to a 9-point shot!) for making a basket while standing within them.
- Powerup icons appear randomly, and convey temporary arcade-like benefits when picked up. Some examples are instant on-fire, enhanced 3-point accuracy, monster dunks from anywhere on the court, or a bomb that knocks all other players to the ground.
- Juice Mode increases the speed of the game up to 4x.
- Tournament Mode disables all other modes, special characters, and cheats, and challenges you to defeat all the NBA teams to unlock extra players (2 extra players for almost every team). Winning Tournament Mode also unlocks a higher CPU difficulty level.
