92-year-old Charles Wylie abseiled down Portsmouths Spinnaker Tower for his wife, Jean, who is living with dementia.
Charles said: “I want to raise awareness of symptoms. It took 7 years to get a diagnosis for Jean. Everyone has the right to a timely diagnosis and have access to a drug trial and more support. That’s why I’m supporting Alzheimer’s Research UK’s petition - to call on the government for everyone to have the right to an accurate and early diagnosis.”
