Yup, it's finally here! A 2D mode switch speedrun of DQ11~
First completed run of my route. A very unique and interesting speedrun. This run had lots of safety saving and had wipes, couple in the arena and spent 10+ minutes on Rab~ My goal for this, or at least first step is getting sub 8:40. I think the route is solid enough for mid 8. Need to work on ways to reduce random encounters~
General Info:
2D Mode is a feature of DQ11 switch. This is a much more difficult speedrun due to deadly random encounters and different field/battle mechanics (Route is different than 3D). Don't have an estimate, but it is slower than 3D mode because of not being able to skip CS, but way faster than PS4. Other FAQs answered here pastebin.com/aE8YmUg1
