September 11, 2001, marked one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in history when hijacked planes struck the World Trade Center towers in New York, killing more than 2,900 people. Kathy Comerford, who was on the 70th floor of the South Tower during the attack, recounts her harrowing escape from the building as it was struck, describing the floors buckling and rolling beneath her feet. Twenty-five years later, she reflects on living with the traumatic memories and the lasting impact on her family and the world.
