2020 has been a turbulent year for American families: COVID-19. Natural disasters. Marches, protests and shootings. A divisive presidential election cycle.
And now we know that parents in America overwhelmingly do not want their children to choose a career in politics. That’s according to this year’s American Family Survey from the Deseret News and Brigham Young University.
Only 1 in 10 parents say they would be happy if their child pursued a political path, compared to 3 in 10 back in 1995.
