The sound in our video is crucial and the entire film makes very little use of on set recorded sounds. Almost 90% of the film was foleyed by Onno Schmitz, who also recorded the on set sounds. The entire film was shot in two days on a Sony a7s II with Schneider Kreuznach 35mm and 50mm lenses.___________________________________________________________________Thanks to everyone who helped out on this project. This is the first project I've shot with it.While I was on vacation in South Africa, I visited my cousin. We decided to shoot a short film and that's exactly what we did... And only that, which means no script, no storyboard no nothing. Not even a shot list. We just went out and shot. This is the result!The title has a double meaning which has a lot to do with the narrative... I hope you catch it. So I thought: "why not try and recreate it?" IF YOU"RE FRENCH, PLEASE READ THIS: Please don't laugh at us too hard, we tried very hard to speak your impossibly complicated but fine language... Also, If we battered your favourite film, please don't hate us. It's a complicated film with a lot of characters and we only had four actors and 10 minutes to fit it all in ;) This film is a school assignment we had to do. I'm lucky enough to go to a school that made this film possible. Every year students who follow German or French classes get to make a film. They call it " filmstad" or " film city" in English. The German classes went to Berlin and the French classes went to Paris. I had been looking forward to this for about a year and it all payed off in the end. Rik, Emilie, Rosalie and I worked on the film inbetween other school projects throughout three monthsin total.
