Hiking the O in Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia!
On this episode I'm taking you behind the scenes of the women's tour I led in Chilean Patagonia in March. It was just 16 women, my co-guide and me, and the amazing nature in Patagonia.
The O Circuit in Torres del Paine National Park in Chile is easily the most famous trail in Patagonia. Though the towers in the park earned it such renown, it’s the ever-changing landscape on each day of the trail that has made me fall in love with it enough to hike it twice. My first time, I backpacked it carrying all of my own gear. The second time, I brought a group of 16 women with me and had a more luxurious experience.
Each day brought something new from hiking to Seron, Dickson, Los Perros, to the John Gardner Pass, Paine Grande, Frances, Los Cuernos, and finishing with the famous towers for sunrise and the Hotel Las Torres for a couple of days. We hiked over 80 miles with women from all around the world and of many ages, professions and backgrounds. It was an awesome trip with amazing people that I'll never forget!
