Apologies in advance for the background whining yapping noises of the pooch throughout the whole video. Anyway, tonight was supposed to be just a photo night but I couldn’t resist a bit of filming. The 9% Crescent didn’t come out too well since it was so low in the sky and we were cutting through so much atmosphere, but Jupiter and Saturn came out pretty well, better than last night. The black spot on Jupiter looks like a shadow of a moon planet, but the 4 main ones are over to the right of Jupiter.
The photos of the Lagoon Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy came out quite poorly. I am missing a decent astro lens after selling my other gear so was stuck with what I had.
