The PC GPU market is often like a game of chess, new pieces and players come in and the choices made, both from manufacturer and consumer are tactical. The RX580, a fourth Generation Polaris model derived from the GCN architecture, is similar to what powers the PS4Pro and Xbox One X. Here we have a large 8GB model and pitted against the newer, yet weaker Xbox Series S, I test it in full overclocked mode in a selection of modern 1080, 1440 and even 4K titles including brand new titles in The Last of us Part1. Dead Space Remake - PS5 VRS Update Patch tested on PS5, PC against old & new

NX Gamer 2023-02-02 | Dead Space Remake has hit hard across PS5, PC, Xbox Series X|S last week. But the biggest sound came from the Variable Rate shading implementation used across all platforms. After Motive patched the Frostbite engine to remove VRS on PS5 and add an option on PC, I turned the ship around and went back in for a closer look. SackBoy A Big Adventure: Patched PC, Steam Deck & PS5 Compared - NX Technical Review

The Witcher 3: Next Gen Update Hotfix2x PC, PS5, Series X|S, Last Gen Technical Review

After the initial update for the Witcher 3 Next Gen having some issues on PC & Console. Some hotfixes were released for the Red Engine 3 monster hit, with Hotfix2x tested. Optimised Settings
The settings covered in the video relate to when you are CPU bound, if you see no benefit from these updates then you are likely fully GPU bound. Lower GPU resolution to gain back performance and then retest. Using these on any GPU only requires you to adjust Resolution/FSR/DLSS as needed and leave all other options as is in the menu. Once happy cap your FPS to 30/60 if you can or 40fps if you have a 120Hz screen and a 5600X equal or greater CPU. Using my RTX2070 when not fully GPU bound at 1620p DLSS Perf I gained 15% performance improvement with the same run in this video and 50% on the lows.

Download and rename your current user settings file to OLD and place this one and remove the 'optimised' section of the name (dx12user.settings) and boot up the game, hope it helps.

This is my first one, recorded over Sunday and Monday evening and up early for my Patrons, thank you for all your support.
