Lets Play Randomizer Sacred Stones - Part 1
updated
In any case, I hope you enjoy the video, and maybe see you in the next one, whenever it happens to come. I've been really into this game however, and the game-within-the-game so maybe there will be more about Littlewood itself and my town, of which you can see a little bit at the end of the video.
shout out to Victor bleed and b!Elisanne's heals, without which this would not have been possible.

Leave a comment if you've got a question, if you found this useful or how you adjusted your units to make this work. It might help out someone else!
Here's a breakdown of MY units and what you can do to patch up any differences:
Reinhardt +2, +atk -spd
- Dire Thunder
- REPOSITION
- DRACONIC AURA
- DEATH BLOW 3
- LANCE BREAKER 1 (or better)
- SAVAGE BLOW 2 (or better, or as a Sacred Seal. The lost +1 attack from the SS can be fixed with extra merges on your Reinhardt OR higher quality Spur/Drive Atks on your other units)
- ATK +1 (you can also use Poison Strike 3 SS if for some reason, you have that leveled, or a higher attack seal)
Lilina, or a comparable red mage, +spd -hp
- Bolganone+ (or better)
- SWAP
- DRACONIC AURA
- Atk +3
- G TOMEBREAKER 1 (or better)
- Spur Attack 3
- DISTANT DEFENSE
*** You need a red mage that will double the lance armor and also stay healthy enough to keep G Tomebreaker up. Sophia is too slow. Tharja can work but she'll need some help in the attack area to kill the lance armor early. It is not recommended to put extra buffs for Rauthrblade because the healer's Panic Plow/Panic staff might mess some stuff up. Lilina is good because she has Spur Attack 3, which is vital to Reinhardt for securing a few kills. Having Forblaze will make this easier. Having a different A slot will also make this easier, but I went with her base, base kit just in case.
Azura +1, -res +def
- SLAYING LANCE+ defense refine (if your Azura takes the hit from the archer cav, you will need extra HP and defense and a mix of weapon refines and your A slot will achieve this)
- Sing
*** NOTE ABOUT HER A SLOT: TA is not necessary, however see above about the Slaying Lance. Depending on who your second dancer is, Azura may tank a shot and she needs to survive that so adjust her weapon and A slot as necessary.
- Hone Attack 3
- DRIVE ATK 2 (this is very important)
SECOND BLUE DANCER: here are the IVs on the one I used.
Ninian +def -res
Shigure +spd -atk
Bride Ninian +res -atk
*** You need at least Spur Atk 1. A better seal here will compensate for using a different red mage, or if your Reinhardt isn't +atk or whatever.
*** Your unit needs to survive the bow archer, if the bow archer targets them. My bride Ninian needed HP+5 and Iote's. Adjust as necessary.
*** If you use one of the ranged dancers, you need to UNEQUIP THEIR WEAPON. There is a chance the red mage will go the wrong way and end up way over on the left instead of next to legendary Marth.

Some notes:
- If you’re planning to go to the Pokemon Cafe, make a reservation. We made ours like 2 weeks in advance and there were only two time slots left, both very late at night.
- If you go to Nikko, get a guide.
- Himeji Castle is beautiful, but you may want a guide. There is very little signage within the castle itself. Also, wear walking shoes because the stairs are very steep and within the castle, even more steep. You're required to take your shoes off to climb the castle which makes it a slightly more treacherous climb.
The Mori building was very incredible and tw rooms in particular were very interesting. They had a small area set aside for drawing and you could color in an animal—lizards, birds, butterflies and frogs for the first one, and turtles, jellyfish, seahorses and other aquatic animals for the second. They would then scan it and your creation would appear on the floor. The first room we did a bird and spent a long time trying to find it but couldn’t.
On the way out, we passed a sign that explained how the room worked. The animals interacted with each other in particular ways. Alligators at birds. Frogs ate butterflies. Lizards ate frogs. So there was a certain kind of balance to the room depending on what people choose to draw. Unfortunately, there were a lot of alligators and nothing ate alligators so they only got removed from the ecosystem when they timed out so birds got eaten pretty fast—that’s why we think we couldn’t find our creation.
In the sea themed room that had a similar drawing and scanning activity, we were more careful to select an animal towards the top of the food chain. The video shows our turtle come to life and wander around a bit.

Hakodate was really, really interesting because of its history. Japan had been (mostly) closed to foreign trade for many many years and so the fact that Hakodate was opened to foreign trade means that it, as well as the rest of Hokkaido, adopted Western culture more widely. The rose garden and the brick buildings which made a quick feature in the video were just a few examples. The architecture there was very odd-the first floor would be traditional Japanese style but then the upper floors were all Western, with window panes and storm shutters and paneled siding. Another odd example of Western integration was the creation of the first concrete Buddhist temple. Fires were a big problem and many buildings' histories featured reconstruction so concrete was a practical solution to this. Our guide suggested however that it wasn't very well received.
The fear of a Russian invasion was also surprisingly influential. The British consulate (or a different building---don't quote me on this. But definitely one of the foreign governmental buildings) was moved from a very fancy location on the hill close to the port to a less desirable location because they were worried the location could be attacks from the harbor. The Goryokaku fort was from a much older period, before Hakodate opened, that was meant to prevent a blockade.
Mt. Hakodate is also fairly interested, since the volcano there has been fairly active--this is why it has a funny shape since it very famously blew off its top in a devastating eruption.
If you're planning a trip yourself, I'd recommend Hakodate over Sapporo.
My sister really wanted to go to animal cafes. We went to a hedgehog cafe but for some reason I forgot to take videos there :( The owl cafe had a woman handing out fliers that said the owls were all free to walk around, which is the only reason why we went. Come to find out a majority of the owls were tied down and only 3/4 were free to move. It was a little sad but it was quite cool to touch the owls. They are very soft and it was amusing to pat them and then have their heads turn around 360 degrees to look at you inquisitively. The hedgehog cafe was also quite fun however our hedgehogs were very tired (or possibly overwhelmed/scared? I'm not sure...) and I felt really bad constantly waking them up.
The Nezu Museum was quite cool and the extensive garden was beautiful, though quite buggy. We weren't allowed to take photos or video inside. It started off as Nezu Kaichiro's personal collection, and his collecting interest were primarily Chinese. If you're looking for a museum of Japanese stuff, this museum might not be right for you. It had a really interesting exhibit on tea ceremony related utensils. Apparently certain objects used will be given names and the exhibit had the poetry pieces referenced along with an explanation. My memory may not serve perfectly, but for example, a teapot that broke and was put together might be given a name related to a work about a river that diverged because of a large boulder but eventually rejoined.
Again, thanks for watching! I really appreciate the support, as always.
Song: Ame no yoru no anata wa by Meiko Kaji
Many of the things we did were kind of touristy take pictures and then move on kind of visits. One thing I've noticed while on this trip is that the historical signage isn't very good. Ginkakuji (the gold-leaf temple) for example was apparently burned down and rebuilt and has an interesting story as to why it's covered in gold-leaf, but none of that history is mentioned.
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Boulevard and Museum was very moving, educational and heartbreaking and was an exception to the signage bit. Everything was translated and extensive. There were a lot of first hand experiences of people there, photographs (taken by people you just know experienced the long term effects of radiation) of victims, first responders and scientists. One thing that I recall as interested was that the preservation of the A Bomb Dome was slightly contentious. Some did not want to have reminders of the city's devastation. Ultimately the city council voted unanimously to preserve it for the sake of the global community.
Shout-out to CherchePrime for recommending CoCo's Curry!
Hakodate is an active fishing port and famous for a pretty wide variety of food, one of which is squid. The Morning Market had these large tanks with squid where you could pay to catch a squid and the chef would cut it up for you immediately. It was cool but kinda sad watching people catch squid, knowing the unlucky winner would be eaten immediately after. Lots more coming about Hakodate! Our guide was super informative and Hakodate had a surprisingly interesting history that I wasn't aware of.
Song: Shura no Hana by Meiko Kaji
(also yes, I know the lyrics are tonally not appropriate but I really like this song and I was getting bored of YouTube's music library)
Unfortunately, the weather has been pretty overcast so we went to Hakone to basically see some nice vistas but it was so cloudy :( Visiting the baths there however was still very fun and relaxing. It had a smaller town feel and we spent a half day walking around in a kind of neighborhood-area looking for Soun-ji shrine. The locals were super friendly and talking to them was probably the most memorable part of that part of the trip.
Kyoto was super fun. Day 6 we had a guided tour. Nijo castle was by far my favorite part. The details of construction were just really incredible. The hallways leading up to the meeting room of the shogun were full of turns so that intruders coming to attack him would have to slow down for the turns. The floors in certain public areas had particular kinds of fixtures so that too much pressure would cause a squeaking sound to, again, alert the shogun of invaders. Many rooms had hidden closets in which samurai would hide, were the shogun to be attacked.
The murals and carvings on the walls were beautiful. Many rooms had tigers, however since Japan doesn't natively have tigers, the artists worked from Chinese references and so the results are somewhat humorous.
Visiting WAK Japan was also an excellent experience. Putting on the kimono was fun but talking and learning about Japanese culture was very cool. The building itself is an old townhouse and has a beautiful garden. The woman who worked with us was very nice and answered all our questions. She began by explaining a concept of 'ichigo ichie' (one opportunity, one encounter) and I think that make it feel more important, establishing the finiteness of the day right from the start.
During the tea ceremony lesson part, she made us matcha powder based tea so we could see how it was done. The tea was super aerated (I think because of the type of brush that is used?) and when we did it ourselves with her help, it wasn't anywhere near as bubbly. Turns out, there are two different "types" or schools of tea ceremony making and one is very bubbly and the other isn't. It was definitely a worthwhile experience!
Song: Triumph by Yung Logos
Tokyo National Museum:
The Yayoi ceramics we saw at the Tokyo National Museum were interesting because they were made around the period that pottery wheels were being made and the kiln temperature was increased, which better preserved the red color.
The forged gilt bronze bowl was used by Buddhist monks for rituals. The bowl bottoms are rounded so the bowls were laid on rings to keep them upright. The fact that this bowl and its ring have stayed together unscathed is signifiant.
~~Others~~
Cat Cafe - Cafe MoCHA (Harujuku)
- nice location and view, but the cats won't come to you unless you buy one of the cat food options for 500 yen.
Cotton candy - Totti Candy Factory (Harajuku)
- I didn't eat it but my friends said it was good and the different flavors (grape, soda, melon, orange, strawberry) were good.
Bunny Cafe - Moff Rell (Akihabara)
- was really awesome. The price included some treats to give the bunnies.
2nd ramen place - Ichiran (Ueno)
- waited a really long time but it was really good.
