How to open 8-track cartridges held together with 3 tabs. Labels that commonly used this type of cartridge include but are not limited to Columbia's "TC8" and "Columbia House", MCA, A&M, Epic, Mercury and Arista. Many post 1984 releases also used this type of cartridge. The actual shape and color of your cartridge may vary from the common gray TC8s in this video but should open the same way. You may choose to either open these from the top or bottom, usually to avoid going through the paper label.
