This is not my usual style of playing but sometimes "less is more". And it was a wonderful challenge to compose a whole album of minimalistic piano pieces. I called it "Notte", which means "Night" in Italian. I don't speak Italian but many musical terms came from this melodic language, so I feel attracted to it. Besides, "Notte" - it's almost like "Note", which is also very musical.
...Notte... Night.. the time of silence, dreams, reflections.. the time when the music happens in between notes more than in the notes themselves. It's 8pm on my musical clock. The Night is yet to fall onto the Earth. It's time for Shadows.
