Twine countrycraftcreations.com/search?type=product&q=Twine*Pumpkin Explosion Box Walk Through, a Country Craft Creations Design Team ProjectMichelle Allen, A Creative Operation2023-08-12 | Hi all...coming soon!! I made this project at the request of Dawn, one of my crafty friends from the Country Craft Creations family, and it turned out so cool! I made this pumpkin explosion box that turned out adorable. The Doodlebug paper is older, and was purchased at the last retreat I attended. A new one is coming soon, so go check it out! I will share a walk through of that in the tutorial for the fall version, using Country Craft Creations "Fall Breeze" paper collection. I hope you enjoy the project and I'll see you soon with the tutorial.
Fall Breeze countrycraftcreations.com/search?type=product&q=fall%20breeze*Midnight Potions Junk Journal, a design team project for Country Craft CreationsMichelle Allen, A Creative Operation2023-08-07 | Hi all! It's that time, Halloween is coming and I'm getting ready. I used a two-divider classification folder I had in my stash to create this fun junk journal. I combined a couple different kinds of papers, some coffee dyed and some inked, and the gorgeous paper collection Midnight Potions, and made this fun "spell book" that I think will be a perfect addition to my Halloween kitchen. I raided my stash and found printables from Pinterest to add to the journal. My youngest son had also given me Halloween themed junk journal ephemera/books that I also got images from. I plan to add to this as I go. I love this book!
The "feather" pen was found at my local grocery store.
In this tutorial I'll explain how I turned the folder into this journal, show you how to sew in the signatures using the pamphlet stitch, and how to make the little envelopes that I put in the journal.
I hope you like it and it inspires you to create your own masterpiece!
Please note: If you use any printables or images off of Pinterest, be aware that some of them may not be free for your use if you are intending to sell the object. Please keep aware of this. I don’t want anyone to get in trouble! This project is a personal project, and I do not intend to sell it.Sharing these fun Document Folders!Michelle Allen, A Creative Operation2023-08-05 | Inspired by this video, youtu.be/Mft4oFO3b7k by Roxy Creations, I made these fun document folders. They are part of #roxysweeklychallenge 2023 that she is doing. I love how they came out, and I thought you would too. These were fun to make, and I thought that they would not only make great additions to journals, but could also be journals in and of themselves.
Go check out her tutorial, and I'll see you soon with more projects. Stay Crafty!
Note: I did the video a couple months ago and am just sharing it now.August #craftygoals2023Michelle Allen, A Creative Operation2023-08-01 | Hi all and welcome. This is the August version of my Crafty Goals collaboration. I'm excited you are here!

This is a rolling ephemera holder that I made and I was asked to do a tutorial. It's simple to do, and very useful. It can be made to store ephemera "permanently" so that it is handy to grab when making projects, or you can use it as a holder during specific projects, and reuse as needed. I made it as part of a Country Craft Creations design team project. You can check out the online store at countrycraftcreations.com
I had made is as part of a scraps smash project I did with Echo Parks “Let’s Create” paper collection, which was leftovers from a previous design team package. With it I originally made a craft project organizer, youtu.be/dyKZGqIHCGQ
Below is a cutting guide, scoring is in the video.

I used a variety of things in my stash, including Tim Holtz, Paper Studio and 7 Gypsies products. I will show you how to make them. All you need is some ephemera, some bling, and a 6x6 piece of paper, the thinner the better. I was using some old papers I had from scrapbook paper pads.
Thanks for watching, and have fun with this crafty idea!Let’s make a pen holder for your journals!Michelle Allen, A Creative Operation2023-06-12 | Hi all, and welcome! Today I have a great pen holder that will work in so many journals and books. I was inspired by this video by Medieval Mirage. youtu.be/c6jGCzp_k1g. She did one with fabric, but I thought about how I could make one with paper. I came up with this and it works so wonderfully! I thought I'd share it with you today. I have another variation in my little brain that I will come back with at another time. (Ohhhh, the suspense!)
Some of the papers used are from Simple Stories and Tim Holtz. I used ephemera I have made and hoarded. I also made some from papers I had left over from projects made for Country Craft Creations, specifically "By the Sea" and "Soar". countrycraftcreations.com
The journal with the slotted hinge has a tutorial, and you can see that here: youtu.be/5KoGB7j18YA
Thanks so much for watching!Tags created with Your Creative Studio’s February Subscription BoxMichelle Allen, A Creative Operation2023-06-11 | Here are some tags I created using the amazing products in Your Creative Studio's February box. I used cardstock, ribbons and flowers from my stash, everything else was in the box. I thought that these would be amazing as additions to journals, and could also be used as a tag for presents too. There are plenty of spaces to journal/write on, and they are SO BEAUTIFUL!
This tutorial is a pictorial. In the video there are shots of my notes...a diagram of the cutting and scoring, and instructions to the side on how to cut, score and glue to make the pockets. Pause your screen and write notes or take screen shots. They are soooooo easy to make, I'm sure you will want to make dozens of them!

Below is a cut and scoring guide. I will not do a tutorial on this smaller size, as the pieces are done in the exact same manner as the Berry Fields album tutorial mentioned above.

This does take quite a bit of product. I do go over that in the video. The colors of the My Colors Cardstock that I used to mat are Velvet Night, Carnival Red Mint Julep and Gold Rush.
I did use ephemera that I had made during my previous design team project using this paper collection. You can see that video here in case you missed it. It is my Honeycomb Ephemera Organizer, youtu.be/Gd1E_nm7IlQ
In this video I use the lay flat method for making the cover, and that video is here. youtu.be/VDrBoasyqtc

I made a bunch of cards, tags, hidden paper clips, ephemera, an envelope (tutorial is here by Pinkstrawberryz, youtu.be/Nj6_iy4O8xw), a notebook, layouts, divider tabs and even made rosettes and ephemera using the packaging and cover sheet for the collection. Cobblestone Creek Studios is a great brick and mortar and online store. This past weekend they had a "pizza box" sale, where whatever you could fit into a 16 x 16 pizza box was 40% off. I had to go check it out. Among some of the goodies I snagged were the Mintay "Garage" paper pad (6 x 8) and the Folio 2 by Photoplay. I made this album and just had to share it. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Welcome to this fun tutorial. I am excited to share this with you. At the beginning of the video I share different versions, including the version that started this whole idea. I will do a tutorial on one of the versions, the one that I ended up liking the best. That said, below is a link to a Google Doc that has a cut and score list for all of the versions. Even though I only teach the one version, they are all made the same way and with the guides and pictures provided, along with this tutorial, you should have no trouble making other sizes I share.

This is a share video of a project I made. It was inspired by a fabric version that I have seen, and I decided to create a paper version. I am working on a tutorial for this project and will be coming out with it soon. I am playing with different sizes and ideas...so stay tuned! I filled this with cluster ephemera that I made for junk journaling, and used a variety of items from my stash to mix and match.
