After months of having 8Bitdo's Sega MD DIY Kit, a mod that allows you to make an original Sega Genesis controller wireless, the long awaited bluetooth receiver that allows it to be used with an original console has been released. I was very eager to install the kit in my SJ-6000 controller and enjoy the freedom of wireless Genesis gameplay. Let's see how that goes.....

UPDATE:
Thanks to viewer Schmeck626 for calling out where 8bitdo keeps the firmware files for these, as they are not listed with the controllers and receivers. If you go to the "Tools" section and download the auto firmware updater there, you can flash the PCB. I was on v5.08 and the latest at this writing is v6.10. This actually may prompt another video.
