Before the days when original music in 8-bit computer games was routine and expected, classical music tended to make lots of appearances. The sheet music was available, it was easy to compress the main bits into a limited number of voices, and it didn't require sound effects.
This video was played before the "8-Bit Symphony" concert at Hull City Hall on 15th June 2019. Most people probably didn't pay attention!
