FeedbackLoop | #89 - Fluke 196C scopemeter repair attempt @feedback-loop | Uploaded 4 years ago | Updated 1 day ago
This scopemeter was an eBay deal that was hard to resist. It was described as having a non-working channel A, and also it did not have any accessories. The scopemeter was taken apart, shown in some detail, the schematic of the isolated channel front-end was discussed, and some testing was performed. The unfortunate conclusion was that, most probably, the channel ASIC is faulty, and therefore, the channel A is not repairable unless a donor unit turns up for a good price or a miraculous source of these OQ0206HL ASICs is found.
