Chamber Of Reflection Multifandom MEP | Part 1 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-08-22 | #LOTR #MEP Oof it's been 2 weeks but here's finally a new MEP part for Multi_exe!: youtube.com/watch?v=QxN1_3tdO54I kinda wanted to join this MEP not only because I usually join her MEPs, but also because I was using to this part here to vent a bit (like requested by the host). I've had kind of a rough week with bad physical AND mental health and adore Frodo, so tried I portray some of my struggles through him.It starts off with "Spend some time away (...)", where Frodo is kinda just sitting around anxiously, looking okay although he's really suffering inside which is exactly what I often do where I just quietly sitting somewhere looking okay but on the inside, all my negative emotions are riding rollercoaster. Sam here represents my friends and family, but mainly my mum who is always very worried but like Frodo I feel like it's mostly my own burden - something no one can really help me with. This goes for both my chronic illness and my OCD. The OCD is supposed to be represented by the ring as it is very bad for Frodo but he becomes addicted to it and in most moments, using the ring for vanishing seems necessary but it is ultimately harmful. But we feel like we need it and I tend to become aggressive, angry and defensive when someone criticizes me acting on my OCD - honestly a lot like Frodo when he gets asked about the ring too much, so I put a scene of this there. "Getting ready for the day (...)", where Frodo puts the necklace with the ring on again is basically me getting up in the morning every day despite everything but also how acting on my OCD has become an okay and normal thing to me - like putting on jewellry or clothes despite it not being good for me which you can see in the scars the ring's chain left. But we also see him having determination and smarts where he opens the gate of Moria due to his knowledge of elven language which is supposed to show that I do after all have happy and determined moments, hobbies and victories, especially since I'm a bit of a nerd just like Frodo. "(...) the day you're born again" just has some more dramatic vibes lol but the Nazgul riding the Fell Beast is basically the evil ring seducing Frodo who succumbs to it aka me who succumbs to my urge to clean because of my OCD - Sam saving him is basically my mum both angrily and desperately trying to stop me against my will. The last scenes of Frodo at the fires of Mount Doom is basically him (and me) living through the ultimate struggle and realizing how uch damage it does but still being unable to stop it, while the very end is supposed to be a calmer and happier moment with friends and family which does exist despite all the struggles in the background. And I believe I also threw some of my struggles with isolation because of Covid in there, since Frodo is almost exclusively just with Sam and only the ending clip has the group together.Anyway, I used some nice soft and slightly dramatic simple blending transitions and turned the brightness up in some places without making it too bright and I like how it turned out.Hope you like it! :3Okay yeah so my (physical) health is getting better again though I'm probably not going to feel all that great. Martin doesn't actually get mocked for his hair in the movie but the audio still suits their personalities so well and I wanted to poke some lighthearted fun at Hugo Weaving's hardcore-bleached hair in the 80s and 90s (I think he looked very good with it tho)This is definitely something that could've happened in movie for real tbhAnd since Martin doesn't have red highlights he at least has red sweaters and shirts Celia can hate on XD (He doesn't even have greasy hair it was just wet... from rain... Rebecca Multifandom Love Triangle MEP | Part 3 & 4 | For AimAndFire Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-08-01 | #Proof #MEP Here are some MEP parts for AimAndFire again - after a long time - for their upcoming Love Triangle MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=3VLva47PniEOhh I love using Proof for relationship drama MEPs! This song was perfect for Martin, Celia and Andy as it not only has the theme of affairs/cheating/love triangle, but also trust, which is one of the core themes of this movie. So the song was perfect to use!My song snippet starts off with "You say it was just a mistake" which is supposed to be Celia talking about Andy's opinion of their little lust-driven love affair which was eventually ended by him. "But I saw you with him Saturday" is Martin catching Andy and Celia making out - well, despite not actually being able to see XD. He is disappointed in Andy lying and breaking his trust trying to be with Celia, which "Never thought you'd be so fake" nicely conveys, with Andy being quite abashed, as he does kinda feel bad about it. "Such a snake!" is literally just Martin talking about Celia XD. He has a weird love-hate-relationship with her but I kinda fabricated a bisexual love triangle for him. For "Cry me oceans, babe" I used the scene where Celia is trying to get it on with him where he changes his mind and flees, both in confusion and slight disgust, but also because he doesn't wanna cheat on Andy (in my version) and knowing that a relationship with him and Celia can't work. After that he's just crying alone in his room where his emotions spike up 'cause he doesn't know what he really wants or what to do now. In the movie, Martin immediately asks Andy to never lie to him, both if he describes him photos on a regular basis and if they become friends and I kinda took that to the next level in my MEP part with "Never fuck up my love". Martin takes it very seriously (and gay) and Andy just smiles 'cause he's too easy-going. "Nothing left to say" shows some of Martin's and Celia's complicated relationship of him being mean to her despite her (desperate) and obsessive love to him. He's willing to apologize to the saddened Celia, but still tends to mock her for staying with him. "Never fuck up my trust" is literally just Martin's anger at both Andy and Celia... well, doing exactly that. Celia IS kinda shaken about it. "Should've known you were so alike" is both referring to Andy and Celia being liars, but also to Andy and Martin's friendship in a wholesome kinda twist. Wait A Minute Multiships MEP | Part 4 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-07-29 | #Proof #MEP I've edited another MEP part for Multi_exe's upcoming Multiships MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=G5JF_wQZq-cFinally a Multiships MEP to use the problematic love triangle of my new favorite film "Proof"! I honestly just wanted an opportunity to edit with Hugo Weaving's character Martin, not only because I love this lil' jerk but also because it's interesting to edit with a new movie of a new genre featuring a cast of only 3 main characters. Here I kinda made up some gay/bi and maybe poly relationship drama, so for this scenario you gotta imagine that Martin and Andy are falling for eachother as well. (Turns out that I love using these characters lol)It starts off with "Let's go get it, ah ah, let's go get it, ah ah" so the first clip I used is stoic blind Martin, supposed to be walking to the rythm of the music with his beloved camera. Andy is supposed to be getting interested in Martin after seeing him again at his restaurant at "ah, ah", while the "Let's go get it" is Celia toying with Martin by seducingly circling him. At the instrumental beat it's Andy and Martin crashing into a police car after their unfortunate run-in with some rowdys. "Some things don't work" still contains Andy flirting with/complimenting the happier-than-ever Martin, immediately followed by Andy getting it on with Celia. "Some things are bound to be" is Martin's discovery of Celia and Andy's affair, which disappoints him, especially when his new best friend is trying to sneak away. He's saddened and distraught over his complicated love triangle, suitable for "Some things, they hurt" and yells at them to leave, however his housekeeper Celia is equally distraught as she has a complicated on/off relationship with Martin and is clinging to him and he, with his conflicted feelings, is possibly ending it later on. I wanted to show this better with Martin changing his mind while making out with Celia and confused fleeing her home while she's desperately yelling after him to please not leave her. He attempts to apologize/talk it out after a date at "You left your diary at my house" and while Martin doesn't have a diary, he has a collection of photos he uses like a diary where Celia dreamily pieces together a big picture of Andy since she's still into him and at the very end, the three meet up with the possibility of talking it out and become a polyamorous trio. Or at least that's the story I made up for this part LOL.I used simple blending transitions to match the music and not distract from the clips and otherwise just turned the brightness up. OMG I'm so sorry for being late, the character was just so hard to edit with because of his little screen time but I wanted to use this role of Alex Lawther because it's what originally made me simp for him XD.Yeah, so the movie is based on a real event, so all the characters there were real people (which kinda keeps me from editing with it despite Adam Driver having a main role there as well). Alex Lawther plays King Charles VI of France, taking place mainly around the 1380s, who just seems like a mix of a general weirdo and/or annoying-comic-relief-prick but if you look into his actual background you'll know that he was an (obviously) orphaned young king who was well liked by his people until he botched his regency after suddenly spiraling into severe mental illness - which would explain the odd behaviour of his movie counterparts. Therefore I wanted to let y'all know that despite the Collab relying on humor and me finding Alex Lawther's portrayal of Charles VI hilarious, I don't condone joking about how much of an "insane little shithead" the character is (like I know many people online did) because even though King Charles VI was no saint, he indeed was a real person suffering from very bad mental health struggles. On another note, I didn't think The Last Duel was perfect, but I still enjoyed it as the important story of a brave woman.Hope you like it! :3Finally finished the Collab parts yesss! Crush Culture Multifandom MEP | Part 6 | For Ashtro Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-07-20 | #LOTR #MEP It's been an even LONGER time now since I've last edited for Ashtro and when they opened their new Multifandom MEP I just had to join!: youtube.com/watch?v=7rrQLieujrcThe MEP has the interesting theme of characters who don't want to be in a relationship and I found that to be an interesting theme among all the other "generic" Multifandom MEPs. Plus, using Frodo was very suitable since he was never shown to be interested in a relationship both in the books and in the movies (at least as far as I know).I started out with Galadriel's lovely interaction with Frodo at "All they feedin' you is beautiful lies" - mainly because I thought he sings "beautiful eyes" and my fangirl-monkey-brain told me to slap that beautiful shot of Elijah Wood's huge blue eyes into the edit LMAO. Still, it fits as Frodo acknowledges her friendliness but is unphazed by her beauty and he was supposed to look relatively indifferent to it all anyway - as in, he understands that she looks beautiful and is compassionate but he doesn't get the huge crushes ppl have on Galadriel. It smoothly transtions through the shot of Frodo's beautiful EYES again into "So hide in the bathroom (...)" where he's supposed to get alarmed and hide in a room at his friends trying to get him hooked up with Rosie (who is just supposed to be a random stand-in for a pretty and popular girl) again since he's pressured by everyone to at least TRY a relationship. "(...) 'til they find someone else new (culture)" shows how Rosie actually ends up marrying Sam - who was actually into her - and Frodo is seen being happy for his friends without any desire to pursue a relationship himself, despite people constanly asking him about it - right until he's started to be relaxed about the topic and shrugging it off in front of others. He assures Sam that he's really not into seeing any of the girls (or boys) from the bar while they walk away from it at "I don't care what you say" in contrast to Sam, who is obviously checking out Rosie. "I don't want to participate (...)" ends with... Idk, Frodo rejecting a wedding ring box - either as a earlier love confession by (an obviously bisexual!) Sam or as something he wants to give Rosie and suggests to Frodo how great it is to be in love. Either way, Frodo thinks it's cute and politely declines and we see how he's just happy spending time with his friends or reading a book alone in the woods - just happy living his life without a romantic relationship or a crush.For transitions I used simple blending again and added some brighter lighting and a veeery slight pinkish filter to make it seem more happy and fit the theme better. I actually very much like how it all turned out as a cute little story I made up via editing. Feel Invincible Multifandom MEP | Part 1 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-07-17 | #LOTR #MEP Another LOTR MEP part for Multi_exe's newest Multifandom MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=i1WIDWcMZhgI'm quite obviously still crushing hard on Hugo Weaving (aside from Elijah Wood of course) so I took the opportunity to edit with him again - especially since I love Skillet! Their songs are so cool and badass and Elrond really needs more love, he's so underrated!So since for this MEP there was no mention of having to choose a specific character I didn't wanna go too hard into fangirl mode and still kept it about the overall story of LOTR, but with a focus on Lord Elrond. My obvious choice for the beginning with "Target on my back (...)" was Sauron entering the battle powered by his mighty ring and Elrond's shocked reaction to it - even if no one's got a target on their back inthis scene XD. "(...) lone survivor lasts" features Elrond's overly dramatic prophecy of Aragorn dying with his mourning daughter by his side because... I thought the lyrics said "no survivor" lmao. Though if you think about it it still fits with elven woman Arwen being the "lone survivor" - PHEW, saved it right there without even realizing it! "They got me in their sights" is supposed to refer to Arwen (daughter) and Galadriel (mother-in-law) literally just staring at Elrond in these shots lol, followed by Sauron's giant eye as the ultimate sight since everybody knows that Elrond has a knack for getting on his nerves. Isildur cutting off Sauron's ring finger during battle, aquiring the ring through this and Elrond guiding him up to Mount Doom to destroy it at "No surrender, no trigger fingers go" was honestly such a no-brainer because I chose this as a random fight scene and then realized how well the finger-line fits - as well as Elrond's arm movement at "(...) go!" XD. "Living the dangerous life" at the end was kinda what made me pick the part since that's exactly where I planned to put Elrond battling the dark forces to protect his friends because it was so ridiculously suitable and almost over-the-top dramatic that I HAD to edit it this way!For transitioning I used simple blending for more a nicely soft dramatic feeling (I had a few problems with the beginnings and endings of connected parts appearing and awkwardly blending into eachother - if you know what I mean - but managed to fix it) and put a little more lighting and contrast onto the clips. Im Here Multifandom MEP | Part 7 | For LightWolf Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-07-15 | #LOTR #MEP After a long I've finally edited a MEP part for LightWolf again!: youtube.com/watch?v=UpJDIZ_VcRMSince I really like her song choices and flexible Multifandom-premise, I decided to join again and due to the lyrics it was very easy and fun! since they were very suitableWith the instrumental start I went for some melancholic storytelling of Frodo's journey, from his quiet Hobbit- ife up until he learns about the ring and gets thrust into a dangerous war. I wanted to make a buildup from the happy life to the creepy Nazgul encounter with Frodo dramatically opening his big blue eyes when the instrumental gets really crazy LOL. "Come with me" is obviously Frodo starting his jouney with his friend by his side, along with a more cynical shot of him getting chased by the Nazgul from before to have a contrast between the relatively positive to neutral meaning of the song and the creepy Nazgul creature hunting him. "We'll travel (...)" has some walking from The Two Towers because I needed some nice footage from that movie as well to feature the whole trilogy and "(...) through the triumph (...)" that heartwarming scene of Frodo after his triumph, hugging his friends. It ends with "(...) and tragedy" of the Fellowship's first horror moment of Gandalf's alleged death (which traumatizes Frodo) and him hugging Sam on Mount Doom after destroying the Ring, a heartbreaking scene of them thinking they're now going to die together. For transitions I dragged out some simple blending transitions for a more dramatic feeling and added some lighting, contrast and color correction (which I don't know the English name of LOL) and I quite like how it turned out - especially consiering I had an idea- and motivation-boost and made this in 3 days.Hope you like it! :3Only 1 more MEP part and 1 more Collab part to go! Aaaand I'm obviously in the middle of my brand new crush on Hugo Weaving (Elrond from LOTR, ya know) so for this part I chose Martin Webber from the 1991 Australian indie movie "Proof" - a distrustful blind guy who's trying to handle a childhood trauma linked to his disability while navigating a love-triangle between him, his creepily obsessive housekeeper Celia and his new best friend Andy. Martin is honestly pretty much an a$$hole but this just makes the movie 100x funnier and more believable. Buried Beneath Multifandom MEP | Part 6 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-07-05 | #LOTR #MEP Again a MEP part for Multi_exe of course!: youtube.com/watch?v=K9b9DlsBzb4I mainly joined this MEP because I wanted to use Elrond from LOTR since he (or better Hugo Weaving) is kiiiinda my crush now besides Frodo/Elijah Wood. The song was nicely dramatic for some epic LOTR scenes to use and a perfect opportunity to edit with a new character!There's instrumental/lyric-less singing at the beginning of my part, so I put some of Elrond's epic fight scenes during the flashback of the War Of The Last Alliance. It's him just commanding and fighting (even Sauron turns up) until Isildur's betrayal at Mount Doom, leaving Elrond devastated - in my head this sorta already counts as sacrifice but Idk how to describe how tbh. "Built this house on the shore" shows Elrond watching the other elves leave, including his daughter, who is followed by his worried looks. The "house on the shore" is quite obviously Rivendell, which was actually founded by Elrond and oh well, instead of a shore I've at least gotten a majestic waterfall! For "All I wanted was more (...)" was bit more difficult because Elrond is an overall very selfless and loving character (even if his movie-version is slightly more morally grey), so I edited the scene's meaning a bit and relied on lip-sync a bit more with the epic sword-draw. Featured by going in for a hug with his daughter Arwen who chooses to give up her elven life for her husband, being separated from the rest of her family forever, which will of course be Elrond's biggest and most painful sacrifice, but also an important lesson for him to let his kids live their own lives.For transition I think long drawn-out blending transitions suited the music and magical scenes best and I put some light- and saturation-correction in order to not make it seem so... boring? Enemies Multifandom MEP | Part 8 | For Kittinette Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-06-30 | #LOTR #MEP Finally a new Multifandom MEP part for a new host! :D : youtube.com/watch?v=r4yvd4pYBGUYessss I love The Score and I wanted to help out so I couldn't say no, especially not with my tons of free time and Frodo-obsession - here it is!This time I really didn't go after any lyrics 'cause there obviously aren't any besides the "Goodbye to my enemies!" at the very end, so I just used scenes of Frodo and Gollum fighting and tricking eachother. I started off with their first meeting in "Two Towers" where Gollum is eventually the slightly more dominant one, followed by the scene in the Dead Marshes where Frodo is disgusted by Gollum and slaps the surprised creature's hand away which also involves their fight for the ring. In the next scene I made it look like Frodo sets a trap with Faramir to capture and torture Gollum as an act of revenge (although he obviously doesn't know about Faramir's brutality and doesn't want him to hurt Gollum). I jump back to their first meeting of Frodo being badass for good measure and then Gollum going berserk at him and getting hit by a stone. Right at the very end with "Goodbye to my enemies!" I put Frodo's actual act of revenge where he attacks Gollum for the ring and they both fall over the edge.With this being the MEP's very last part I actually put the "Thanks For Watching!" for the MEP (but see it as a my usual Thank You to you guys as well) and to make the part look more interesting and dynamic, I used multiple transitions like normal blending, zoom-in and glitch to make it look more dynamic and I quite like how it turned out!Hope you like it! :3Finally a new MEP part! I mean, y'all know how much I love themed MEPs!Starting off with "I don't know what you been told" was just too perfect for Frodo's aggressively confronting Sam over him insulting Gollum was just too good for a nice lip-synch, followed by their shocked faces over Gollum framing Sam in front of manipulated Frodo. Yeah, "See, I am not your enemy" might not be too fitting with Frodo pushing Sam but I kinda thought it was both a nice juxtaposition and, well, he didn't try to kill him (yet). I also wanted them to have an overall hostile and distrustful attitude towards eachother like in the next clip, as well as something that could be condsidered a genuinely dangerous incident where I wanted it to look like Sam is attacking Frodo in front of an incoming Nazgul (as opposed to saving him like in the actual movie), them falling down while beating eachother up until Frodo finally draws the sword in front of Sam's face at "But if there's something that I know is that you ain't a friend of me" where I used the happy-flashback-joker the host gave me and I love it. Closed it all off with the betrayal of Frodo succumbing to the ring and claiming it as his own in front of shocked weeping Sam because I wasn't sure what else to put there as they're usually best friends lol.Yeah sooo I used simple black blending transitions to give it all a more sad and serious mood but used a flash transition for the black and white flashback 'cause I thought it looked fancy XD. Awake Multifandom MEP | Part 8 & 9 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-06-07 | #LOTR #Andor #MEP (Ooof it has been a hot minute since I've released my last video LOL - Idk, there has been so much on my mind for the past 2 weeks and I've been to therapy and a festival, along with getting a new hobby, and, and, and-)Anyway, here are finally my Awake MEP parts for Multi_exe's upcoming Multifandom MEP: youtube.com/watch?v=2VkIMK_4n-8I really wanted to help out with this one since it has so many parts and those 2 suited some of my faves (which you can see here) so there was no reason for me not to join.I tried to stick more to the lyrics as the music itself was a biiiit too fast for my personal taste, but I still managed to make the clips fit so that's pretty ok^^. I started off with the beginning of "Look inside (...)" where Karis Nemik is following their plan of disguising as an Imperial soldier (just as a sort of introduction), followed by his naively heroic worldview being shaken when he learns that his new Senpai Cassian Andor is actually a mercenary. Dspite this, after a quick and serious conversation he thinks about it, literally "looking inside" of himself, his view and feelings on others. "With darkness my tears collide" we see Nemik during one of his only comforting moments where he's sharing food during their late-night grouping around the campfire, only to see his friends die in the crossfire with the Empire next day, where we briefly see him realizing that his friends are indeed dying. At "Sinking into the shrine of me (...)" contains both this and his "shrine"? (I just kinda wanted a metaphor for him actually being quite good at defending himself and his group. "I'm ready to be set free" marks the character's meaning where we learn how dedicated he his to his political views and being a freedom fighter who is rather emotional and sensitive and kinda naive, but still manages to be powerful by fighting with his brain/soul. "I'm ready to be set free" takes a jump into the future where, therefore, the only thing left of Nemik after his death is his manifesto which is still able to spark a rebellion, followed by me actually showing him getting squashed by the spaceship's luggage at "I'm sick as I die (...)". (He dies a few hours later, actually, but you get the idea). Transitioning into Frodo Baggins, who falls in into ghostly waters at the suitable "(...) in the air I breathe" due to being hypnotized by the ring, and being able to breathe underwater because of its powers. "I feel alive" has Frodo's last real boost of energy and desperate motivation where he runs up the rest of Mount Doom to destroy the ring, being horribly scarred (physically and mentally) and I think this is where he feels this boost of "being alive", despite this, along with him believing in hope and in himself while calling to the magic elven water to defend himself against Shelob. "My self-portrait suicide" is obviously Frodo literally looking at his own reflection in Galadriel's magical mirror in a sort of quiet and shy way with the drastic contrast of his ring-damaged self later on who risks his life attacking Gollum in pure fury to get his ring back (which was quie literally a borderline suicidal act to show his obsession). "Tonight is no time to die" is a new scene of Moria's Watcher attacking Frodo and his friends saving him which is supposed to be a stand-in for all the moments of extreme danger Frodo survives, closing off at "And now I'm awake" with a bright and happy ending scene of Frodo successfully completing his mission and reuniting with his friends in bright light as a picture of hope in strong contrast to Karis Nemik's sad and dramatic death during his mission, mostly devoid from hope and color.As you can see, I've used only simple blending to avoid distraction from the scenes and having a contrast in color by turning Karis' saturation down and Frodo's up, to show two charcrers who are quite similar in personality (and looks), one being an active and volunteering, passionate freedom-fighter, one a carefree and positive everyman being dragged into a war and choosing to put himself through hell to safe the world and his friends. Both more sensitive and suffering mostly in silence while still being strong in the heat of the moment, one a main character sucessfully completing his mission, reuiniting with his friends in a happy, hopeful moment, the other one a side character dying in agony during his mission who his essentially being forgotten by the narrative.Hope you like it! :3Heeeey, here's a new video! Even if I'm usually not too hot about Shipping MEPs due to my lack of ships XDI wanted to start off the instrumental part with some wholesome scenes of Frodo reading in the woods and Sam gardening, followed by them meeting in the corn field at "Come in my way" to make it seem like they were just kinda meeting eachother there by "accident" aka Sam wanting to meet Frodo :3. "I look for you when I'm (...)" is basically just Sam being too shy to talk to Frodo until they're already in love and kissing where Frodo is basically showing Sam that he's super in love as well. At "Lost" I wanted to portray Sam helping Frodo while he's suffering from the ring and Frodo - kinda in return - saves Sam from drowning. They thank eachother in a loveable hug, giving eachother emotional support and Sam saves Frodo from both the influence of the ring and the Nazgul during "So I don't go insane". I didn'tknow what to put at "Break (...)", so I just used the scene of the king statue with the flower crown illuminated by the sun, with the hobbit boyfriends sharing a moment of new hope during their harsh journey.As for transition I used the simple blending ones with a gold-ish bright coloring to make it all look more happy and I've added lyrics on request from the host. Underneath My Raincoat Multifandom Pride MEP | Part 5 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-05-12 | #LOTR #MEP #PrideMonthA Pride MEP part again for Multi_exe!: youtube.com/watch?v=odf0s8ItKdcI rlly wanted to join this MEP and Frodo x Sam was a nice couple since they're cute and I low-key actually ship it. No one can convince me that Sam didn't have a crush on both Rosie AND Frodo!For the first line "It's raining cats and dogs" it took me so long to realize that this is a saying since in in my language we say something like "It's raining buckets" so I was already looking up the clip of the guy with the cat at The Prancing Pony bar but oh well haha. It still ended up like my original idea of rain-drenched Frodo entering the Inn and catching the attention of Sam, which is why it is followed by "If you got a second you could blow my mind" where they're supposed to flirt/oogle eachother where Frodo unexpectedly turns out quite flirty while they're walking home - which leaves Sam slightly confused XD. It's also where I decided to put the Pansexual and the Bisexual Pride Flag as their (headcanon) sexualities. (Also bc I had no idea for the optional Pride Flag color scheme). "I wanna kiss you now" has their tearful hug and goodbye-kiss re-used as sweet romantic moments because screw all that unnecessary sad stuff. The situation with "(...) and make the rumors right" is basically Frodo and Sam's friends of the Fellowship recognizing their flirting/relationship and starting to jokingly tease and ship them while the boys are trying to focus on the mission (while trying to not acknowledge how right the friends are). I didn't quite know what to put at the very end of "So nevermind the people-", so I used the scenes of Sam giving the exhausted Frodo on Mount Doom hope and forget about the journey's horrors for just a second, afterwards it's supposed to be them adorably reuniting at Frodo's hospital bed. (And y'all please ignore that the scenes are in fact not in chronological order bc the movies are sad)As for coloring I went for a happy sunny and bright coloring to match the theme because I would've found an actual Pride Flag coloring too distracting from the scenes, that's also why I've only used some simple blending transitions.Hope you like it! :3Another MEP part, yay! I've had this idea of him being ftm trans for a while, given the fact that he's an adult male African lion without a mane, family issues and a self-proclaimed title no one calls him by. So, even if all of this was originally supposed to make him seem immature, they've kinda accidentally created a trans character? LOL (At least for me)I kinda didn't pay attention to the lyrics that much so "Roll me like a blunt" just has Prince John being his usual hot-headed self with demanding and shouting stuff lol. It gets more interesting at "(...) 'cause I wanna go home" where I wanted to show how he's jealous of his brother and sad over the hinted family problems, something he thinks about a lot. Instrumental is just John being his usual cowardly self again where he's fighting Robin Hood and then fleeing in fear just minutes later when he's starting to loose against him - I thought him hiding his tail to the rythm of the music would be funny XD. "Oscars and Emmy's and Grammy's (...)" is just John being indulgent in his fortune and jewellry, "Everyone here is a trophy" is showing a bit of his "friendship" with Sir Hiss (at least his trust) when he's happy and how John is more or less confident when it comes to his role as a king and identity as a guy. So even if he's immature and cowardly about being a king, he's still pretty satisfied with himself. The clip at "And I'm sipping bourbon" was only used because he's throwing a bottle of alcohol - most likely red wine but just pretend it's bourbon to make it fit, ok? XD I didn't quite pay much attention to the to the last line "The future's uncertain", so the clips of John claiming his undeserved throne and being kinda happy is kind of ironic but oh well, his future is kinda uncertain at this point, isn't it? John's just not really bothered by it I guess!For this MEP part I only used simple blending transitions because they were the most suitable and of course I remembered to add the colors of the Pride flag I'm using, as requested by the host, even if it was a bit difficult due to the lots of blues in the background. I've also really enjoyed to add the flag itself and use it as a final background to mark the moments where John is confident about his identity. The background-removal-tool crashed my program multiple times but it looks sooo good and I finally wanted to use it! Sleepwalking Multifandom Possession MEP | Part 6 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-04-16 | #LOTR #MEP Brand new MEP part again for Multi_exe!: youtube.com/watch?v=WiyFJ90psz4Haha I love joining themed MEPs and this one had the possession theme again, so here we go! It rlly wasn't challenging, as Frodo's story fits very nicely, although I was just constantly tempted to put way too many scenes bc I always wanna cramp the entire character's story into a 10-second-edit LMAOFor the first few seconds at "Then it becomes, it becomes, it becomes, it becomes a problem" I simply put how Frodo's story begins, with Bilbo using the magical ring in front of him, Gandalf sending him away to destroy it while he's hunted by Nazgul where he first feels the power of the ring seducing him. I just rlly loved Elijah Wood opening his big eyes at "problem" LOL. "Bad thoughts give me bad dreams" was suitable for Frodo accidentally putting the ring on - and Sauron's eye seeing him because it's almost like he's in a literal nightmare world when he puts on the ring. For "And my bad dreams make me get up and walk" we have him connecting to the ring more and more, not only "feeling" its "pain" and malignacy, but also getting a false sense of comfort and obsession when he's holding the ring. It's very tight, but you even have him start possessed walking right at "walk". "Bad thoughts give me bad dreams and my bad dreams (...)" has Frodo actually suffer from being possessed by the ring, when he walks over to a Nazgul (which I didn't show bc time lol) and has the overwhelming urge to put on the ring, getting saved by Sam (again, not shown bc of time) whom he viciously attacks bc he's basically become a magical drug addict at this point. I think the whole scenario of Frodo being a possessed and addicted to ring to the point of him endangering his best friend's life, as well as his own, fits the "bad thoughts" and "my bad dreams" very nicely. His full-on final scene on Mordor when he gives into the ring instead of throwing it into lava is a great last clip with "make me sleepwalk". It was overall fun to use his scenes.Transition-wise I used some simple blending, most with a bouncy effect to make it fit the music more and a red-filter which makes all the yellow, like Sauron's eye and his golden ring, stand out against black and white. Sadly, you can't see Elijah Wood's super-blue eyes anymore but it was requested for the MEP and I like playing around with themes and filters! Yes To Heaven Multiships MEP | Part 3 & 4 | For xRani Sky Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-04-12 | #Disney #MEP #RobinHood I've finally made a MEP part for xRani Sky again after a very long time!: youtube.com/watch?v=d59Ts988W-kThis is the first time I'm using Disney's Robin Hood for a MEP part (mainly bc xRani Sky mostly edits with cartoons themselves) and it was so fun!The very first scene starts with "Give peace a chance", obviously with Maid Marian begging Prince John to spare Robin Hood's life and him confessing his love to her. "Let the fear you have fall away" is nice because I was able to add a scene where Maid Marian is fleeing from the royal guards in fear, gets saved by Robin and then they literally come down after falling through a rip in a tent. Some sweet eye contact and romantic, fun night together at "I've got my eye on you" for obvious reasons. The "Say yes to heaven" is just supposed to be a sweet mix of Marian having an obvious crush on Robin, them having a fun time together (to show how they're indeed friends as well), a sweet hug and finally - their super cute wedding with a super cute kiss! Hehe!To keep a calm and romantic feeling, I've only added simple but longer blending transitions and used 2 pretty filters to make the clips look more like being about love. I adore how it turned out, despite having issues with the thumbnail-making, that's why it might've lost a bit of its quality.Hope you like it! :3Ohhh I'll definitely use Robin Hood for another MEP part because it was lovely but for now I've joined another MEP with Frodo again. Dont Blame Me 48hr Multifandom MEP | Part 12 | For Bullseye MEP Studio Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-04-11 | #StarWars #MEP #AndorJoined Bullseye MEP Studio's upcoming 48hr Multifandom MEP a second time because I wanted to help out and have another editing challenge!This time I randomly chose Karis Nemik as a character to focus on, so I could edit with him again because I'm pretty much over his death now and I loooove Alex Lawther, he's so cute :)At "Oh Lord save me!" I started out with Karis being fatally injured through an accident during the heist, since that's probably what he'd think during that moment. "My drug is my baby" is just him being cute after his BFF shoves a gun into his face to wake him up from his insomnia-induced daytime-nap because he is LITERALLY BABY! For "I'll be using for the rest of my life" I chose to - literally - show the very rest of Karis' life, where his friends are trying to save him, where he loses conciousness in his BFF's arms and finally dies on the surgery table. Though for "I get so high, oh!" I wanted to show the moments of his life/this character that were the most intense and where Nemik (arguably) became a bit morally grey during the adrenaline-filled mess of the heist, where he is held at gunpoint, fights alongside his friends as a surprisingly good shooter and actually starts killing people. Couldn't think of much more for "Every time, every time you're loving me" than fighting, Nemik fumbling around at his little navigational system and a nice and smooth lip-sync at the very end (which looks like him flirting with Cassian now lmao).The transitions I used is just some simple blending-stuff, some with the slight bouncy-effect, to prevent distraction from the clips and it honestly suited the music best as well. I quite like how it turned out! (Despite forgetting the "48hr" on the thumbnail which couldn't be changed due to the picture glitching after re-opening it on the editor website grrrr...)Hope you like it! :3Hehe, another MEP part and there will be one more while I'm waiting for new MEPs to open. Dont Blame Me 48hr Multifandom MEP | Part 8 | For Bullseye MEP Studio Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-04-09 | #LOTR #MEP Another Frodo Multifandom MEP part for Bullseye MEP Studio!: youtube.com/watch?v=9G3qsUd8b5AThis MEP was open and got me interested in doing another 48hr MEP part and I actually found lines which suit Frodo, so I joined!Starting out with "(...) insane but I'm your baby (your baby)" I wanted to show how Frodo is slowly consumed by the ring's evil power despite everybody loving him and despite the fact that he used to be everybody's childish, happy-go-lucky kid. "Echoes (echoes) of your name inside my mind" has his confusing and distressing visions/hallucinations of Galadriel and Sauron (Idk, the Galadriel ones don't look too great) since this is self-explanatory. "At "Halo" we see Frodo taking responsibility over bringing the ring to Mordor and him saving Sam, as to show how he is still a good person at heart "with a halo over his head", despite the very next scenes at "Hiding my obsession" showing him in the marshes and in Mordor falling victim to the ring's evil seduction. I know the song is about love/obsession over a person, but the lyrics were just too good and fitting for Frodo! Eyes On You Multifandom Possession MEP | Part 3 & 4 | For LincolnLoud 2004 Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-04-07 | #LOTR #MEP #SpidermanHere's a new Double(!) Part for the new host LincolnLoud 2004 and their upcoming Multifandom MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=GJFfW2PqM2ANow this one was interesting because I used 2 characters for 2 different parts after a very long time again and it had the very interesting theme of possession by an evil force - something I thought both Doc Ock and Frodo Baggins would fit quite well, even if it's not ghostly supernatural possession in the traditional sense. Aaaand the song is very cool, so I gave it a shot!The whole part just kinda starts at a "I said ooooohhhh", so I decided to tell Doc Ock's story a bit from how he's presenting his mechanic arms for the first time, how they take control of his mind and attack the doctors at the hospital while Octavious is unconscious (which is actually the wrong order of scenes lmao) and how he's horrified of what the tentacles have done while they actually scream with him. Then there's the "The water runs deep and it runs right for ya" part which is super fitting for when Otto is drowning in the Hudson River, followed by some random scenes of him being smug and evil and attacking the two young men he once got along with well, Peter and Harry. After that it's time for the next part, which begins with Frodo being full-on possessed/controlled by the ring, wandering towards a Nazgul and has to get saved by Sam against his will, 'cause I thought it looked nice for the "Ooohhhh"/instrumental part. "There's a price come due" has some scenes of Frodo having to fight monsters and nearly giving up and dying on Mount Doom to emphasize the price he's paying. At "And boy, you got eyes on you" we just have him being calm, slowly petting the ring as he's becoming more and more obsessed and addicted to the ring (I originally wanted to use a different scene but then realized I should show the actual ring at least once lol) and Sauron seeing the horrified Frodo for the first time because that's where he quite literally "got eyes on him" haha.I wasn't quite sure about which transitions to use and wanted to do a mix but then went for just the black transitions to make the parts look more dark and dramatic and it turned out to look quite good!Hope you like it! :3A new MEP part, yay! Destroyer Multifandom MEP | Part 5 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-04-03 | #LOTR #MEP A new Frodo MEP part for Multi_exe's Multifandom MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=1xx1Vo-NDxkI basically joined this MEP only because I wanted to edit more stuff featuring Frodo XD He was very interesting and fitting to use with this song, so it was fun to edit and pick out the scenes!The part I picked just started at "(...) dark", so I simply put Frodo tucking himself to sleep there because that's when it's... dark lol. "Trying to breathe" has Frodo falling into the creepy ghostly waters of the Dead Marshes where he's trying to get out 'cause he's getting attacked by ghosts. He can breathe underwater because of the ring, I know, but the clip still fits XD. "Everyone tells me to carry on" is of course Gandalf urging Frodo to get the ring to Mordor and... then Frodo surprising everyone when he volunteers to keep doing it a bit later - well, I guess "everyone" includes Frodo himself XD. His otherwordly struggles and near surrendering at Mount Doom are shown at "The damages are done", followed by "Set me free" where a deeply hurt and traumatized Frodo finishes his story and leaves his home to find peace to show how he indeed ended up being "damaged" and needed Gandalf's help to heal. "I was a man made of flesh (...)" is just where I wanted to put a dramatic shot of the ring and Elijah Wood's huge blue eyes and Frodo's final fight for his life while hanging on a cliff over Mount Doom's lava. I know it turned out a bit gory but his bloody hand at "flesh" was literally too perfect for the lyrics to not use it.As for transitions, I used simple blending transitions, a few normal ones and a few slightly bouncy ones to make it look interesting without taking the focus away from all the clips I used.I quite like how it turned out!Hope you like it! :3Haha my obsession with Frodo just won't stop XD (Especially since I'm binging Elijah Wood's movies rn). This one is just a classic and I love it! (Although it makes it seem like Frodo is the one who needs the hero LOL)I started off at "He's gotta be sure" where Frodo has cemented the thought of him going to Mordor alone into his mind while escaping through the forest bc he's so determined and "(...) and it's gotta be soon" is obviously supposed to refer to the ring that he has to get to Mordor ASAP. I then put some scenes of Frodo (accidentally) using the ring's power at "And he's gotta be larger than life. Larger than life" and then some dramatic fight scenes and escape scenes. Finally there is the little hobbit activating his magic water to fight Shelob and him about to finally destroy the ring at the MEP part's climax.The transitions I used were pretty generic and not using watermark (as requested by the host) was weird but I like how the MEP turned out!Hope you like it! :3Finally a new Frodo edit! Wolf In Sheeps Clothing 48hr Multifandom MEP | Part 9 | For Bullseye MEP Studio Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-03-11 | #LOTR #MEP Hehe, finally I got to make another MEP part with Frodo - this time a very quick 48hr one aaaand it's for a very new host!: youtube.com/watch?v=l5tvHtWgras&lc=UgzQwlOnvBp1ezmGpEt4AaABAg.9n2fBO0PRZd9n6S_Nc6KFsIdk I thought branching out on hosts would be nice and I love Set It Off's songs, so I immidiately joined! The lyrics also kinda suit Frodo, despite him being a nice person... he still gets his sort of "revenge" on Gollum and Sauron, despite th fact that the ring was heavily influencing him. It might not be very accurate to the story, but the scenes sure look cool with the music! XDI started off at "Show me how you justify" with Frodo literally standing eye to eye with Sauron (until pulling the ring off his finger and therefore disconnecting from him in terror) and I always kinda imagine the little hobbit asking the great Dark Lord to justify himself why he's causing so much suffering and destruction that HE has to fix/put an end to. "Telling all your lies like second nature" has Gollum throwing away their Lambas Bread and framing Sam for it while Frodo's mind is already so twisted by the ring that he believes him. I wanted to put the "like second nature" as a reference to Gollum knowing the ring and how much it affects Frodo that it's easy to him to manipulate the hobbit. Loved how I was able to use Frodo pointing the sword at Gollum and threatening him for the lyrics "Mark my words, one day (...)", even with the lip-synch and the whole thing is kinda self explanatory. Just like "One day, you will pain" with injured Frodo rising with pure vengeance in his eyes to attack Gollum until they both fall off the cliff inside of Mount Doom. "Karma's gonna come" just has Frodo pulling his invisibility-trick on Boromir to escape him and how he finally manages to destroy the ring and therefore Sauron. I thought it was very fitting, even though the scenes were a bit fast and maybe cut-off but whatever...The only transitions I used this time were simple blending transitions because others didn't seem to fit, especially with the relatively quick pace of the part but I sure like how it turned out!Hope you like it! :3Haha of course I'm just waiting for the next MEP to use Frodo in! XD. I especially like her running/attack scenes or were she's laughing at th very end - it's so cute!^^. Some lip-synch was also added as a gimmick hehe.As for the rest, I put a pinkish filter over it to give the part a "feminine touch" plus a mix of generic transitions as well as some glitch and flash ones to make it all look more interesting. My very first full Frodo Baggins video edit!I've just found this amazing song by Imagine Dragons (about 2 weeks ago) from being used by other editors and watched them/listened to it a lot until I realized how well it suits Frodo so I quite obviously HAD to use it!I haven't even seen all LOTR movies yet - I'm in the middle of watching The Fellowship Of The Ring - but they're very cool overall and Frodo is just soooo cute and relateable (as someone with a chronic illness and OCD), so he's my brand new crush now! Hehe^^Yeah so, regarding the video I think it's pretty self-explanatory - from the "Looking in the mirror" to the "Reaper takes my life" and the "Turning the pages of my life" and even the "Voices in the air", the lyrics all fit Frodo's story perfectly. I loved picking out the scenes and especially the cynical "Is this entertaining!?" was fun.To make it a bit more spicy I played around with different transitions - or even no using transitions at all - to make it all look a bit more interesting. Sinners Multifandom MEP | Part 11 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-02-15 | #LOTR #MEP Hey ho, my very first video edit featuring Frodo for Multi_exe's new Multifandom MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=J1sic9v0sfYOhh I've wanted to finally edit something with Frodo Baggins, as a fresh LOTR and Frodo fan, so I was very happy when I saw this new MEP Call opening and this part of the lyrics actually suiting his scenes!I started "(...) gather 'round" with Frodo, Merry and Pippin (and Sam off-screen) literally gathering to watch the Ringwraiths coming for them and then having them have fun with dancing and drinking (alcohol?) at a pub at "Have a little fun before (...)". I was about to use the scene where Frodo dances but decided to switch it with this one to focus more about the fun they're having there as friends. At "(...) they put us in the ground yeah yeah yeaaah" I chose Frodo collapsing after getting attacked by the troll. The lyrics are most likely about getting killed and Frodo of course doesn't die here, he's not even critically injured since he's wearing armor underneath his shirt and is just in a lot of pain and maybe bruised, but I thought it looked appropriately dramatic as a Gotcha-Moment where the viewer thinks Frodo is actually about to die. "Dancing (...)" finally has the very fitting previously switched scene of Frodo happily dancing at his and Bilbo's birthday party. "(...) on cold feet (...)" almost had the pub scene in combination with the previous line about dancing because you can see the character's big signature hobbit feet but I chose to keep it more serious and I REEEEAAALLY wanted to use a scene with the One Ring because I thought the lyrics said "gold" LMAO, so Frodo going invisible after tripping and awkwardly catching it went here. The edit ends with "(...) marching on cobble streets" with clips of Frodo sneaking through the spider Shelob's lair, because he's so determined and it's *his* march towards the Mount Doom, and him scurrying through the literal cobblestone streets of Bree during a rainy night, being the little Hobbit that he is, among the significantly bigger other species like humans.For this edit I used a mix of black and blending transitons to make it more fitting and give the scenes the right vibes. I really like how my first Frodo edit turned out, even if I kiiinda forgot about the MEP's color scheme being the colors of the character you're using but it still looks okay I hope - sorry!^^'Hope you like it! :3Ohhh I love Frodo even though I've never really watched all of the LOTR movies yet hehe ^^'... Alyssa x James | Young Love & Old Money | ❤HAPPY VALENTINES DAY !❤ Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-02-14 | #TEOTFW #ValentinesDay Here it is, my promised Valentine's Day video!I'm just a big fan of The End Of The F***ing World and *love* Alyssa's and Jame's (love) story! It's so heartwarming but also funny, tragic, emotional and realistic! You really believe the show that they actually do fall in love with eachother after going through so much together, without solely basing it on "OMG he/she is so hot!!!". Very refreshing romance and show which I definitely recommend, even with the cynical and dry British humor XDOkay so... I won't go over every lyric or scene to explain why this song felt so suitable for Alyssa and James since those who know the show will see why and for those who don't... well, I hope this video is sufficient XD. But really, I found the music so randomly and almost everything is fitting - from the lovers secretly meeting/running away together, over the misunderstood girl who is married by her mother, to her boy who is disappointed over this and is sorta "threatened" by multiple people and just the overall Romeo and Juliet vibe (although the show makes more refrences to Bonnie and Clyde). The video's focus is more on Alyssa because the song is both supposed to be sung by the girl and from her perspective, though I did use some of her lines for James as well. And since it's Valentine's Day, the video ends on a sweet and hopeful scene!Editing wise it was (surprisingly) pretty easy! I don't know why but I find it very easy to pick scenes from TEOTFW so this edit took me about 3 weeks, big breaks included XD. And to make it look more interesting and engaging I used a mix of different transitions, something I rarely ever do but I made an exception for this "Holiday Special" and I think it turned out nice!Hope you like it! :3There we go, a 2+ min video after a long time again and I'm very happy that I made it and how it turned out! Hurts Like Hell Sad Multifandom Ships MEP | Part 2 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2023-02-03 | #TEOTFWA very depressing MEP part for Multi_exe's upcoming Valentine's Day Shipping MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=ccDmEDW3xDIYeah so originally I just wanted to stick to fun happy fandom stuff for Valentine's Day because I'm a sad and lonely single but theeeen I saw this MEP opening up and thought that a depressing Shipping MEP is actually an interesting idea to flip the whole mood of this Holiday(?) around and I joined with Alyssa and James from TEOTFW since I love them and their story becomes pretty depressing.I wanted to start with James and Alyssa teaming up 2 years after their disastorous adventure again at "How" where Alyss isn't really happy and unsure what she wants so she decides to just go along with it (after running away from her wedding). They both recall the last time they've seen eachother when James was nearly shot dead by the police. "Into words, when it's almost (...)" has them awkwardly chatting at Alyssa's diner where they realize that the mood and vibes of their relationship have changed into something uncomfortable despite the fact that they love eachother. Alyssa thinks that she wants to make out with James and have him as her lover again after comforting him but seemingly cannot handle it and is confused by her feelings, so she distances herself while James is disappointed and equally confused. At "(...) almost too much (...)" is Alyssa remembering her assault at the house they broke into which sent her into a deep depression afterwards. Some flashbacks of how their careless and happy actions after intruding turn into a violent nightmare at "(...) for my soul alone (...)". At the very end we see them arguing, triggered by built-up anger and emotional turmil over how much shitty and traumatic things they've experienced.For this one I've played a bit with using simple transitions as well as no transitons at all for a nice effect and desaturated the flashback scenes to make them stand out (I wanted to make them black & white at first but that looked too harsh tbh). I also turned up the saturation in the other scenes for more contrast so they might look weird but I like how the part turned out!Hope you like it! :3There we go, a new MEP part! "Don't need apologies" is them fighting throughout Season 2 and eventually reconciling after Jame's tearful discovery of Alyssa at Koch's house. At "Know that you are worthy" I wanted to have their conversation at the beach where Alyssa comforts James and they make plans to run away together. Then some roadtrip fun and their perfect plain but sweet ending at "I take your (...)" since that's where Alyssa finally takes Jame's scarred hand and they confess their love for eachother!I put some simple blending transitions and a very slight pinkish filter to make it more Valentinesy. (Didn't care that had no idea what the rest of the lyrics said :D)I started off at "(...) just so you could deface it" featuring the TFA forest fight because of Kylo Ren fighting in blind rage and literally being "defaced" by getting his face slashed (Get it? Because of "face"? LMAO. "Did you let it fall apart, just so you could replace it?" obviously has him destroying his helmet and later putting it together again - it's not quite a "replacement" but it suited the lyrics best. At "Tag your name at the side of a burning bride" is Han literally calling out his son's name and Kylo Ren sealing his choice by murdering him. Afterwards we quite literally have the bride where Kylo is standing on getting burned down by the Resistance's explosions."Watch it fade when the smoke rolls in" is supposed to have the TFA scene where Kylo is angrily marching through the literal fire and him being emerged in some smoke(?)/steam, worshipping the Vader helmet. "Time that you killed" is supposed to reference him basically wasting his life by following Snoke and focusing SO hard on wanting to kill his uncle Luke, mixed with an actual moment where Kylo Ren decides that he wants to leave the past behind and do his own thing. The last scene is just some random cool TROS lightsaber scene with "I promise", showing his newfound cold ruthlessness.Transition-wise there are only a few simple blending ones and no filter or effects because those weren't requested by the host and would've distracted from the overall edit Imo. Rivers In The Desert New Years Action MEP | Part 9 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2022-11-27 | #MEP #KyloRenHere's already the New Year's MEP part for Multi_exe!: youtube.com/watch?v=jai8wO-9tygSo I decided to join this MEP because I (obviously) have a lack of favorite fandoms to use for Christmas MEPs tbh lol and the song was quite suitable for Kylo Ren. (I REALLY have to use him again for more edits rn because I'm still trying to get over my Karis Nemik grief from Andor)Idk, so I filled the instrumental part with some badass and/or fighting scenes or Kylo murdering people to make it look dramatic. At "my heart is a furnace" I used scenes of Kylo getting indulged in his hatred against Luke, while having his face lit red because of fire like a literal furnace. At "How to settle it (...)" we have him running towards him, thinking it will give him satisfaction to kill his uncle, followed by a (flashback-y) clip of him in TFA where Kylo Ren drops his helmet and looks his dad into the eyes in a true moment of uncertainty and conflict, like the song said ("(...) my world of conflict"). After looking at his helmet he smashed in sad anger and desire to change stuff and striking Luke and a Praetorian Guard down (or at least trying to do so), mirroring his lightsaber move at "What keeps me going?" because you gotta ask what he really wants: Murder or just change? Some shot of Ren jumping through a wave because I needed more TROS clips and thought I could reference the "River" in the title. "Take back (...)" just has Kylo Ren stretching out his hand in a suitable gesture and "(...) what I lost to" has him accidentally destroying his idol Darth Vader's helmet, meaning that he is more and more losing the belief and obsession he had in this dark symbol of his grandfather.At the end I only added some simple blending transitions in order to not take away from the action scenes and I love how dynamic it turned out!Hope you like it! :3One more MEP part to go! Superstar Multifandom MEP | Part 1 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2022-11-19 | #AndorA new MEP part for Multi_exe's upcoming Multifandom MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=w7zbDeMgpN0Ooooh boy so this is basically a Character-You-Simp-For-MEP and after listening to the part's lyrics I knew I finally had to use Karis Nemik. I ADORE him and his death hurt my soul so much, like, not even Kylo Ren's death hit me so hard but I still wanted to pay tribute to him.(And because Alex Lawther was the entire goddamn reason I started watching this show LMAO)Idk the first thing I used at "People always talk about" was Nemik talking to Cassian in a sort of cool and reassuring way and then put some filler scenes of him running down a hill and snacking at a camp fire LOL. I actually didn't look up the lyrics but Nemik being fully armed at "All the things they're wrong about" does kinda work when you consider how he had this naive and probably overly heroic feelings about the rebels, as well as his hatred of mercenaries. We get some marching and "Write it on a piece of paper" featuring Nemik with his self-made model of the Imperial Base and his "diary" with the manifesto written in it - so he's quite literally writing it on a piece of paper. At "Got a feeling (...) I just put a few scenes of him explaining stuff and thinking about the situation and/or his views on stuff - Idk it just seemed suitable. "(...) I'll see you later" I wanted to put that cute moment where he's checking his watch and... where he's slowly dying while still holding onto his little manifesto. I think you see what I did there :')For this MEP part I've added a sligthly bright, yellowish filter and used a few fancy sliding transitions to make it all flow well with the music (not too many though). I think it turned out well - after all it's my first time editing with this character and picking out his scenes from other videos takes super long! LOLHope you like it! :3Aaargh I'm still grieving for Nemik but the show is actually pretty good! Also, Alex Lawther is now officially added to the actors whose characters I'll now use regulary but the next MEP parts will be featuring Kylo Ren. Since my summer vacation I have already watched The End Of The F***ing World twice (because of Alex Lawther, obviously) and I absolutely love this show and this couple! Alyssa and James are so freaking cute together - it was obvious that I HAD to include them in a video edit sooner or later and took the opportunity with this MEP.Of course I had to include their cuddle scenes at "(...) held tight" and their lovely beach scenes at "tonight's the night" because I felt like that's one of the times where they really connected. "I need a hero" has some of their funny car scenes because I felt like their fun time together was - in a way - saving them from all the crap around them. "I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night" has James' fake gas station robbery scene where he uses some brave tricks to save Alyssa for obvious reasons and some of their funny dance scenes. The very end with "He's gotta be strong" is a bit more serious because I wanted to put James comforting traumatized Alyssa which was incredibly wholesome. It was all my first time editing with them but it was easy and so much fun!Slapped some simple blending transitions and some nice coloring onto the part and called it a day. I love how it turned out!Hope you like it! :3Only two more MEP parts to go and I'm having a lot of fun using Alex Lawther's characters! Idk I still have an infatuation with Alex Lawther and got inspired after watching Ghost Stories on Friday again after a long time - and edited this! It was quite fun actually and I got wild with all the creepy and interesting effects I had. Don't know if it looks kinda shitty or not as some scenes are a bit too slow but whatever. Here's a full - own - video edit again!After contemplating whether or not to use this song right here or rather China Anne MCClain's "Calling All The Monsters", I went for this one since the other's a bit too fast and Simon doesn't have too many scenes. I put a lot of focus on making it creepy while staying true to the lyrics - like with "(...) there's a devil in the church" and "Everybody's on the run". This also made me use other scenes from the same movie which weren't a part of Simon's story, like that Bible. His story is kinda supposed to be told through flashbacks like in the movie btw (except for the big reveal at the end which just wasn't suitable for the video here LOL). And I know that the title isn't the song's name but I reeeeally wanted that line on the thumbnail!Using tons of effects was really fun (though a bit difficult) and I was (for some reason) incredibly motivated to edit something all of a sudden - probably because I love Simon Rifkind! Pff I know I scraped by the deadline pretty hard this time but I kept my promise and finished my part before Halloween!This is another MEP part where I didn't pay attention to the lyrics - I just couldn't understand them while listening to the song and was afraid to not being able to follow them since my character has very little screen time. So I focused on the editing, going along with Simon's story from where he is a "client" of Dr. Goodman he's been looking forward to and turns out to be a weird, anxious teenager who has barricaded himself inside of his home with a dark room full of occult imagery. I then wanted to cut to the flashback where he was driving through the woods at night, already a bit nervous from arguing with his parents and then back to the present where he's super serious about his creepy incident. After that I started to use th sene where he actually hits a demon with his car and is chased by apparantly multiple unknown entity - which turns him into a wreck.To make it creepy I played around with a lot of glitch and black transitions (because the story is actually quite funny too) and I'm satisfied with how it turned out! No other effects added this time btw because I thought it would be a little too much.Hope you like it! :3I'm in one more MEP so there will be more videos soon and I finally had my first therapy appointment after waiting for about 6 months, whoo! Perfect Illusion Multifandom Angst MEP | Part 4 | For SibxrianSkull Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2022-10-01 | #GhostStories2017 After a long time I've joined a few MEPs again and finally finished one for SibxrianSkull's new Multifandom Angst MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=HfK3uMMCdCYYeah so Idk, I didn't get any new ideas but during my vacation I developed an obsession with a new actor - Alex Lawther - and REALLY wanted to make MEP parts with a few characters he has portrayed. And this MEP's song here was very suitable for Simon Rifkind from Ghost Stories - an angsty, nervous teenager with weird parents who is obsessed with the occult and is practically going insane after he hit a demon with his car at night.I started with Simon simply driving at "(...) Illusion!" and hitting the demon with his car while his screaming nicely lines up with singing LMAO. "It was a perfect illusion" has him talking to Professor Philip Goodman about this event - who's nervously looking around the creepy room full of occult, demonic imagery. At "I don't need eyes to see" Simon is insisting that he isn't crazy or lying and that he knows what he saw, complete with a bright red flashback of him looking at the demon-creature lying on the road. Next we see the teen's car breaking down in the middle of the woods at night and something grabbing his shoulder's at "I feel you touching me" (this was just perfect!). The MEP part ends with "High like amphe(tamine)" where the demon is still out there and Simon realizing that its climbing onto the car's roof.Used some simple blending for this one because black transitions would've been too harsh and desaturated the colors a bit, so that it would fit the MEP's color scheme better!Hope you like it! :3There you go, I've finally finshed a MEP part again! Walk Multifandom MEP | Part 11 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2022-08-24 | #MEP #KyloRenYet another MEP part for one of Multi_exe's Multifandom MEPs!: youtube.com/watch?v=yydwW56Gx1kIdk it's been a while since I joined a MEP (or even finished a video at all), so I decided to help out with this one because I liked the song quite a lot and I was able to use some matching scenes with Kylo for it!So, like I said, I obviously picked Kylo Ren for this one again - not only because I love him but also because he suited the lyrics of this part nicely.Starting off with "(...) For better days" I used scenes of Kylo getting his redemption aka becoming Ben again with the key moments of him getting rid of his murder weapon (lightsaber) and him reuniting with Rey 'cause that's where I think he not only chooses a morally right path, but also a better life for himself (which he doesn't rlly get but whatever). "Or facing the battle" has him provoking the vicious battle in the forest at the end of TFA 'cause he was in a very quarrelsome (and killer-) mood. "And fight for a change" is where he quite literally changes and turns on his boss while teaming up with Rey and revealing his true feelings of wanting to start a new galaxy-order with him. "I've made my decision" has Kylo Ren murdering his father since that's the heaviest choice he has ever made and something he has to accept and deal with for the rest of his life, that's also why I put his look of realization after the murder in TFA and broken look of acceptance in TLJ afterwards. Now for the next line I thought the lyrics were "It's clear in the haze" but it's actually "It's clearing the haze" but whatever... I made it about Kylo not wanting to follow his old role anymore in TLJ, but then latching onto the legacy of his grandfather again in TROS with the literal "haze" (fog, steam, whatever) from Vader surrounding him. "In times when I fail" has his defeat against Rey shown quite obviously and mortifying with her kicking him to the ground. At the end I used the scene where Kylo Ren gets stabbed and (almost) killed by Rey in TROS after the dramatic fight for "(...) I take in the pain". I wanted to use the forest fight from TFA again but decided that the scenes would've been too similar and I wanted to show how he is putting his life at risk and is getting severely injured even AFTER he became more experienced and controlled.For transitioning I chose some simple blending in order to not distract from the scenes and I like how it all turned out!Hope you like it! :3Yeah ummm... I've now realized that my mental health still isn't well enough for me to be as productive as I used to be... Even with two nice, half-finished videos sitting on my laptop. Team Friendships Multifandom MEP | Part 1 | For Multi_exe Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2022-07-30 | #MoonKnight This time I've made a slightly more different part than usual for Multi_exe's Friendship Multifandom MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=WTIqR31FlhcHaha yeah, here is/are the promised new character/s! I saw Moon Knight back in April or May and really enjoyed it! Now I thought that it would be cool to edit with, so there will be more Moon Knight content (despite my love for Kylo Ren XD). The MEP's theme was friendships of course and while Steven is an alter Marc created from trauma, I thought the theme still fits, since they learn to get along and come to terms with their life together throughout the series.It starts off with "Do you feel like you feel too much?", where I put Steven struggling with his life as an alter and where he first resurfaced during Marc being devastated over the death of his abusive mother. "Out of reach 'til you're out of touch" is supposed to refer to Marc looking like an alter to Steven after his mind created him due to childhood trauma and they start reaching out to eachother. "Float around (...)" is Steven stumbling through his life without a clue after being confronted with Marc's superhero life and " (...) like a speck of dust" just has the lyrics-suitable visual of their journey through Egypt where Khonshu literally crumbles apart in the desert sand. At "And nobody seem to know" I just wanted to use a sweet scene of Marc and Steven fighting for eachother and since it's happening in the realm between life and afterlife, it also fits the lyrics. I then put the rest of the scene where Steven (accidentally) sacrifices himself while saving Marc at "Everyone's trying to chase what's cool" because it literally has Steven running towards the viewer, followed by Mr. Knight, who's "chasing what's cool" by also trying to be a badass like Moon Knight in the following scene. At the end I just wanted to have a scene of Steven and Marc hugging during an emotional moment - where Marc comes back for Steven - which is again suitable for the lyrics due to it being in a sort of limbo.For transitioning I chose some slightly "bouncy" ordinary blending 'cause black ones would've been too dark while flashy ones would've been too harsh and I think it looks good!Hope you like it! :3OMG I can't believe I got this edit with this frickin' brand new character with unknown scenes I've never used before done within only a few HOURS when my usual Kylo Ren take me DAYS XDD! Tbh I really enjoyed Oscar Isaac and the entire show because I love Ancient Egyptian stuff. I wanna edit more MEP parts of course - not sure yet if my next video will be a Moon Knight video or a Kylo Ren video... Monster Multimale MEP | Part 2 | For SibxrianSkull Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2022-07-27 | #MEP #KyloRenAnother MEP part is finished, this time for SibxrianSkull's Multimale MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=NO5rK2zQ7X8Y'all know I'm a sucker for Multimale MEPs 'cause I can use a lot of my faves when editing for one - even if it's mostly just Kylo Ren XD. And since this song is a total classic with a nice link to Kylo, who's confirmed to be considered a "monster" by at least Rey, himself, Chewbacca and his father Han (according to the novels). Aside from that I might still use another character for this MEP soon because I've volunteered to be a backup :)First of all, I was really struggling with finding the first scene ("(He) ate my heart out") due to the part starting in the middle of a line/sentence but then I picked two nice hot moments of Kylo marching and swirling his lightsaber. For the next part - the ones with the lyrics I focused on the most - "Look at him" I used Kylo Ren unmasking, but the second time he does it 'cause I usually use it less than his first unmasking. At "(...) look at me" I still wanted to stick to the lyrics, but since it's supposed to be a MEP for males only, I didn't pick a scene with Rey, but the ones where Kylo stops Poe's blaster shot and interrogates him after (lil' bit of some obvious Darkpilot here, hehe). "That boy is bad" recieved some TLJ fighting I cut together in a cool way, while "(...) and honestly" got a rarely used TROS scene of Kylo showing some cold authority. His aggressive, wild and focused fighting and staring in TROS was perfect at "He's a wolf". A masked face and a helmet slammed into a pit of ashes at "(...) in disguise" is pretty obvious since Kylo Ren is disguising his true self. Then at the end I decided to show a close-up of his eyes when he's staring at his smashed mask (and a random dramatic TROS turn-around) for "But I can't stop staring in those (evil eyes)" since it's very suitable!Added some simple, slightly bouncy(?) blending transitions, mainly because the black ones would've looked too harsh and barely dynamic. Good decision, because I like how the edit turned out!Hope you like it! :3Yes, I I definitely can't stop with the MEP parts because I'm still not motivated enough to finish one of my longer videos eve though I'm trying. Maybe I can push myself to a shorter video edit first, like 30 seconds or something? Idk, but for now I'm going for MEP parts still, since they're short and fun lol. To The End Multifandom MEP | Part 2 & 3 | For Transformers Girl Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2022-07-22 | #MEP #ReyloHere's my two parts for Transformers Girl's new Multifandom MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=-OIrhL3Z76IAnother Reylo part! This one was particulary fun and easy to make because the song is based on Rey and Kylo Ren's story and the movie The Rise Of Skywalker overall. Therefore I HAD to jump onto the opportunity and join!I really like how it begins with "Come from here and far", so I showed some of Kylo Ren's and Rey's introductions (movie and teaser), based on how Kylo comes from "here" aka the Light and has parents from the Resistance, while Rey comes from "far", aka the desert planet Jakku somewhere at the end of galaxy. Rey and Kylo Ren both trying to get the Skywalker lightsaber and destroying it in the process with a big white explosion was a great visual for "To ignite this spark". "Maybe we'll rewrite our destiny" has Kylo making the big choice to kill his leader/abuser Snoke and Rey leaving Kylo because of his twisted goals and hateful attitude, plus a cool shot of them circling eachother. "Story of legend from our past" is pretty self-explanatory with Rey finding the legendary Skywalker lightsaber and Kylo praying to the helmet of his deceased grandfather - someone who shaped his life despite being someone he never knew. Some cool character moments from TROS I never use at "Could we be destined" and them trusting eachother even as enemies while teaming up against Snoke's guards at "a last stand" because it looks like one and I wanted to save the stand-off against Palps for the end. For "One more night, we know it's all or nothing now" I'm showing how Kylo/Ben and Rey are running off and making their weapons ready seperately to face off Palps. Then, at the end with only instrumental, I finished it all off with key scenes of the development of their relationship: Their dramatic snowy forest fight in TFA where they're still sworn enemies, how Rey throws Kylo Ren the Skywalker lightsaber during after their team up so he can save his life and finally how they're both overpowered and "sucked-out" by Palpatine as a hero-duo. For some nice dramatic feel I've added simple black transitions and I love how it rned out! Especially with how suitable the music is!Hope you like it! :3There it is - the last MEP part on my list! I definitely want to finish my smaller Kylo Ren video buuut I really wanna edit with a secret new movie/series soon! Despite my motivation though, I obviously don't have all the scenes memorized the same way all the Kylo Ren moments are burned into my mind - LMAO - so I'm still waiting for someone to open a MEP where I can pracitise a bit with all the new character scenes before editing a longer fanvideo. I Get To Love You Multiship MEP | Part 7 | For LightWolf Spinnenpfote DonnerClan 2022-07-15 | #MEP #ReyloAnother part for LightWolf again and one of her Multiship MEPs!: youtube.com/watch?v=NE3b_hY6MtII thought it would be nice to join this Multiship MEP here 'cause it has been a while since I made a MEP part that's purely Reylo haha and the part I chose has lyrics very suitable to the characters!Yeah so like I said: I focused on the lyrics - as always XD. It's not much, so I basically just went for Kylo Ren's and Rey's story together. "The way (...)" has the beginning where they meet during a short fight in the woods on Takodana and stare at eachother in surprise (and awe) at the end of TFA during their longer battle in the snowy forest. "(...) you love..." had to include their first romatic scene of their hand holding while seeing eachother's future and past. "It changes who I am" is what made me choose this song's part since it was perfect for when Rey decides that she wants Kylo to turn back to the Light in TLJ and heals him after causing his fatal stab wound during their fight on the Deathstar wreckage. After all, this whole act of compassion changes his views and pushes his redemption. Likewise, after saving her enemy's life with parts of her own life energy and confessing how she wants to be with him, she runs off to sort out her feelings and eventually face her evil grandfather Palpatine in battle. Obviously, Kylo Ren has now changed back to being Ben Solo and now brings Rey back to life the way she did before. So they've both changed into better people throughout their journey (and Kylo Ren/Ben Solo dies but I'm not gonna show that 'cause it's too sad and I wanted to focus on their postitive emotional and also surprised moments).The whole edit looked better with something bright, so I've added a few (not too harsh) flash transitions and a nice filter for warmer coloring and it definitely worked!Hope you like it! :3One more MEP edit to go! Maybe I'll get my own edits done after that lmfao but MEP parts are such an addiction!
