Romans 12:11-13 (MSG)
13 Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality.

Romans 12:11 (AMP)
Never lag in zeal and earnest endeavor; be AGLOW and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.
Jeremiah 20:11 (AMP)
But the Lord is with me like a dread champion, therefore my persecutors will stumble and not prevail they will be utterly ashamed, because they have failed, with an everlasting discrace that will not be forgotten.
Dread champion; mighty terrible one- to be powerful ;mighty; sto be strengthen; brave’

2 Timothy 3:2 (AMPC)
2 For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane.

Isaiah 5:20(NLT)
20 What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.

2 Timothy 1:6 (AMP)
I would remind you to stir up{rekindle the embers of , fan the flame of, and KEEP BURNING} the (gracious) gift of God, (The inner fire) that is in you.

How do we keep the fire of God, the gift of God stirred up?

1 Samuel 22 (AMPC)
22 So David departed and escaped to the cave of Adullam: and when his brothers and all his father’s house heard it, they went down there to him.
2 And everyone in distress or in debt or discontented gathered to him, and he became a commander over them. And there were with him about 400 men.

Distress- anguish; confinement; disability.
Debt- lack; to be deceived; to be seduced; led astray

Discontented- bitter; angry; vexed

Cave of Adullum- justice of the people.

1 Chronicles 12:8 (AMP)
Courageous men from the Gadites came over to David in the stronghold in the wilderness, men trained for war, who could handle shield and spear, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and who were swift as gazelles on the mountains.

Romans 13:11-14 (NLT)
11 This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living. 13 Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy. 14 Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.

John 16:7-15 (AMP)
7 But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you].

John 14:16-17 (AMPC)
16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever—
17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.

Walk in the Spirit –
Galatians 5:14-15 (AMP)
14 For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is fulfilled in one precept, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF [that is, you shall have an unselfish concern for others and do things for their benefit].” 15 But if you bite and devour one another [in bickering and strife], watch out that you [along with your entire fellowship] are not consumed by one another.

Galatians 5:25 (AMP)
25 If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit].

Revelations 3 talks about the lukewarm church- I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. Because you are lukewarm, I will spit you out of my mouth.
