2. "Walt Disney" Intro (One of my favorite intros from back then...I remember seeing it occasionally on the Disney Channel in the 80's and 90's, back when they actually showed old things. I still think it's weird that this show was just titled "Walt Disney")
3. "Winnie The Pooh And Friends" Intro (Combines the 1974 Winnie the Pooh theatrical short "Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too" with portions of the 1959 "Walt Disney Presents" episode "The Adventures of Chip and Dale" to pad out the remaining 25 minutes...which itself anthologized several Chip and Dale cartoons)

6. E.T. for Atari 2600 (A classic video game commercial for a terrible game! Without crappy games like E.T. and the infamous port of Pac Man for 2600 it's possible we wouldn't have ever had a video game crash and Japanese companies like Nintendo and Sega may have never had success in the west...so it's really a blessing in disguise)

8. TV Spot for "The Dark Crystal" (YES! One of my favorite fantasy films. At least they weren't hiding that it was absolute nightmare plutonium for children in the advertising. I don't think it was wise of them to release such a dark movie like this during the holidays...though it actually performed better at the box office than many people anticipated)

a. Chemical Plant Explosion in Louisiana (The explosion in question happened at the Union Carbide facility in Taft, Louisiana causing the evacuation of 17,000 people in the surrounding area. Two years later in December, 1984 a gas leak at a Union Carbide pesticide plant in Bhopal, India exposed around 500,000 people to a toxic gas eventually killing over 16,000 people and causing lasting health effects for over 40,000 in what is considered the worst industrial disaster in history. Union Carbide was eventually purchased by Dow Chemical in 1999)
b. Reagan pushes for the MX Peacekeeper Missile (The U.S. produced and deployed this ICBM from 1986 to 2005)
c. Italy recalls Ambassadors from Bulgaria (The connection to Bulgaria was made by the Pope's would-be assassin Mehmet Ali Ağca, who made multiple conflicting statements regarding his motivations, prompting multiple investigations that turned into wild goose chases. A CIA analyst later stated that there was no proof for an alleged connection to Bulgaria. Ağca was released from prison in 2010)
d. Artificial heart recipient Barney Clark still in recovery after seizures (Clark was the first to receive a Jarvik-7 artificial heart and died on March 23rd, 1983...112 days after the transplant)
