I picked up this Asus laptop for $20 and brought it back to life by replacing the broken charging port (DC jack) with an $8 part. Any tiny movement would kill charging, so today I dive into my first-ever soldering repair—hot air rework, flux, wick, the works. It wasn’t pretty, but it works! 😅
