In this series we've been taking an in-depth look at the different orchestral textures outlined by McKay in his book Creative Orchestration.
In each of those videos, after explaining the texture we took the theme from Breath of the Wild and tried that texture out on it in a real orchestral setting. In this video we'll take all eight of those orchestrations and listen to them in a back-to-back medley so you can hear how the same theme can go through so many different moods and styles just by changing the texture of orchestration applied to it.
