Biking the Baltics - Finding Your Inner Child Michael Scoot Norwesh 2025-08-22 | For my Bachelor Party, I wanted to do something different, something none of us had ever done before, and something we could all look back on and be proud of. Last year, while brainstorming random ideas for my bachelor party, I came up with biking across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. It was a bold idea; none of us had ever biked more than 10 miles, and none of us had been to the Baltics. As soon as I thought of the idea, I wanted to find a way to make it possible. We ended up biking from Tallinn, Estonia, to Riga, Latvia, and taking a bus from Riga to Vilnius, Lithuania. We biked over 250 miles, creating everlasting memories along the way.This video not only serves as a way to remember our amazing trip, but it will also hopefully inspire and encourage us in the future to find our inner child. Children look at the world, not worrying about what others think, living fully in the moment, taking every moment as it comes. Anywhere You Are | 2024 Engagement Video Michael Scoot Norwesh 2024-06-10 | In 2019 I was a second semester freshman studying at Colorado State University. I decided to take a geology class, and little did I know at the time, but that decision would change my life forever. I sat next to Adaline in geology every day and on February 28th, 2019, we had our first kiss. It was probably the most awkward kiss one could imagine. We were watching Netflix in her dorm, and I closed the laptop. She opened it and I closed it again. She opened it and said something like “what are you doing,” and I responded, “I am not very good at this.” This proposal was a culmination of much chaos, planning, and deception, but all that matters is she said yes. It was such a beautiful proposal that we will remember forever. Thank you to everyone that helped me plan and execute this proposal and thank you Adaline for being the best life and travel partner in the world. I am so happy to continue my life journey with Adaline. VALE - Europe Street Skateboarding Video Michael Scoot Norwesh 2022-01-02 | "VALE" is a full-length street skateboarding video filmed all over Europe. For the past four months, my cousin Dylan Beattie and I have lived in Barcelona, taking classes, traveling, and, most importantly, skating. I went to 15 different countries and documented all of our experiences.It was my second time living in Barcelona, and every time I am out there, it is truly amazing. I love the culture, as it makes the skate scene so much more prominent. The reason I chose to come back to Barcelona again wasn't just because of the skate spots, but because I longed for the sense of community Spanish culture brings. Since Spanish culture and skateboard culture are so alike, it is easy for me to feel at home in Spain. Many skateboarders may think the only reason they love Barcelona so much is because of the skate spots, but in reality, it is also because of the intertwined synonymous Spanish and skateboarding culture. I am so grateful for these experiences, and I will remember them forever. Living in Spain for 3 months was life-changing, I was able to see a new side of the world and myself. I learned a lot about myself and realized that nothing is permanent so I just need to live my life taking nothing for granted. It was a sad moment when I was sent home early due to COVID, but regardless it was an amazing journey, I made some amazing friends, and further strengthened old relationships. I plan on living abroad again in the fall of 2021 which I am excited about. I spent 2020 skateboarding everyday and learning how to be a better person and a better skateboarder. I learned a lot of new tricks and valuable life lessons I will cherish forever.
