The River and Ocean Film Festival is an annual event sponsored this year by the North Pacific Coast Marine Resources Committee, and Washington Sea Grant. Typically held in April at the Rainforest Arts Center in Forks, Washington, this year's event was moved online due to Covid-19. The films in this festival meet two criteria; films are less than 20 minutes in length and are relevant in some way to the natural or social dimensions of the West End of the Olympic Peninsula. This year's online festival will be presented as three episodes: Episode 1 will be available on September 17, 2020, episode 2 will be available on September 24, 2020, and episode 3 will be available on October 1, 2020. The four films in Episode Two include:
"The Olympic Coast as a Sentinel: Tribal Communities at the Forefront of Ocean Change," submitted by Meg Chadsey of Washington Sea Grant (2:17-20:04)
"Coho Fight Club," submitted by David Hahn (22:31-25:13)
"Summer Backpacking at NatureBridge," submitted by Annie Schuler of NatureBridge (26:12-29:04)
"Stories from the Blue Million Waves Project," submitted by James Roubal of Washington CoastSavers (30:22-36:22)
