The Terex 82-40 Dozer had been abandoned for 15 years at the Heaphy coal mine on the West coast of the South Island New Zealand when it was replaced by a newer Cat D9.
We tried to get it running but unfortunately we had starter motor issues so ended up pulling it on to the Low Bed using a Volvo EC700 digger with a little help from an EX200 Hitachi. It's off to the workshop to be restored by local Heavy Machine gurus Brownie, John and Bob.
