In the rap industry - and every industry really, people are always going to play favorites. They're only loyal to whoever can do the most for them. This creates situations where certain rappers can be banned from events, held back on streaming services, removed from songs - all because another more relevant rapper doesn't like them. Or they upset a powerful record label executive.
Either way, it's common for this type of thing to happen and it has resulted in a lot of talented rappers being blackballed from the music industry!
