The BGM from the Sumeru Preview Teaser video is just so catchy. I didn't get into it at first but after listening it a few times I felt I got brain washed. It will be the next Slime Song!!

Travis Zhou starts with this arrangement first until the climax part to get basic structure of the rhythm, melody and harmony. Jasper takes the climax part and continue with a bit original idea to finish the piece. As the music from the video isn't that detailed and clear to hear, and it finishes at the climax part, we think it will be a good idea to takes the main subjects/melody and reform it to make it a short version (Ofc, we will do a full arrangement once we hear it after Sumeru updates). The original music is developing phrase by phrase with more layers, so I think it may be a good idea to do something like level 1-7.

I only take charges of the part Level 5 (based on Travis Zhou's Draft) and Level 6 where both Melody plays as Canon. I almost gave up on this part because I thought it would be impossible to make it on the solo piano. But I decided to continue writing down the voices and see if there is a way to apply Animenz's three-hand technique. I didn't expect it actually worked out as the rhythm is so complicated with more and more notes each development. It turned out very difficult to play, mainly because of the coordination between two hands. My right hand always get distracted by Left hand's notes (it feels to play sth following left hand while it's a long dotted note). I spent almost 1 hour practising on these 8 bars. At the end I decided to split into another level which is the current lvl 4 so only kept four bars from this DISASTER-DIFFICULTY Canon Section. (I definitely need more practise on it for the full version in the future once released)

Jasper's part is amazing so I only did very minor change. We have struggled a bit about the ending. He intended to add the battle motif from Teyvat but in Sumeru but at first we both think it sounds like Inazuma one. Glad at the end, we have figured out.

I'm so hype and can't wait to hear the full version!!!!!!!!

(The difficulty is only rated according to my OWN arrangements so people can know it before they tried to learn it. I set my hardest arrangements as 5/5 and the easist as 1/5. It doesn't represent the difficulty of average piano arrangements on Youtube.)
