"How do I find the right flight instructor?" It's a question I get a lot and it's such a good one to ask. Everyone will have their own unique preferences, but after flying with dozens and dozens of CFI's over the years, I wanted to provide my recommendations on what I personally look for in an instructor. I hope it helps you find someone that can become a lifelong aviation mentor for you, and avoid some of the bad experiences we too often hear about when someone has the wrong instructor.
