When cutting your own hair at home, I recommend you dry cut or cut your hair while it is dry. If your hair is wavy, you may need to blow dry it straight or use a flat iron to straighten it first. I don't recommend cutting your bangs wet as it will shrink after it dries so for accuracy, please cut dry hair. Another important note is to never ever cut your bangs straight across with your hair cutting shears, unless you are a hair dresser and know what you're doing it. Most often than not, it won't turn out well. Always trim a little bit of length at a time and use the point cutting technique to eliminate room for mistakes. I know it might be intimidating to cut your own bangs at first but once you know how and start practicing, the better you'll get at it! Labor and delivery is not easy but in the end, it is so rewarding. :)After delivery, adjusting to life as a mom was very overwhelming-- more so than I ever imagined. This is great if you want to get rid of split ends that are dry and splayed. I used the ponytail technique to create shorter layers at the front of my face and longer layers at the back. I saw this method of cutting hair on Pinterest quite some time ago and I've been using it since (before this I was using the hair slithering technique to create layers). The result is a layered haircut in a soft V shape at the back. You can either use thinning scissors to soften the bluntness of the ends or your can use the point cutting technique which I showed you in the video. To do the point cutting technique, slide your fingers horizontally down your hair to flatten the tip of your hair and cut into your ends using the points of the scissors. I do have an older sister who was pregnant but she had zero symptoms in her pregnancy (bless her!) so she couldn't relate to me at all. =( If it weren't for my hubby and God, I don't know how I would have gotten through it. There were some days when I'd be in bed for the entire day. When my hubby arrived home from work, I told him that I was disappointed in myself and felt unproductive. He replied, "You shouldn't feel like that. It takes a lot to grow another human being. Did you know that you helped Jellybean grow some fingers and a nose today? How many people can say that?" He read the pregnancy week-by-week book so he always knew what was developing that week. LOL Anyways, that really comfort me and made me change my whole perspective on the first trimester so if you're having a tough time in your pregnancy, just remember that. :)-------------

Drugstore Foundation Routine (Beauty Tips) Bebexo 2015-10-02 | This makeup tutorial will show you how to achieve flawless skin using drugstore foundation. To pick a foundation shade that goes with your undertone, you must first know your undertone color. Look at the back of our wrist. If your veins are green or olive green, you have warm undertones. If your veins are blue-green, you have neutral undertones. And lastly, if you have blue or purple veins, you have cool undertones. Knowing your true undertone will make your foundation look natural.2. If you suffer from dry skin like me, prep your skin by exfoliating the night below and moisture it well ahead. Instead of using a foundation brush to apply foundation which can irritate your skin and cause it to flake/peel, use a damp beauty sponge like the one I used in this video and it won't disturb your skin.3. Blend your foundation down to your neck because most of the time our necks are a different color from our faces. We tend to wash and exfoliate it more so it's lighter than the rest of our bodies.4. If you have severe discoloration on your face, use color corrector makeup before you apply your foundation. This will neutralize the spots while the foundation covers it.5. Foundations come in matte, satin, and dewy finishes. If you have dry skin, go for dewy foundations to keep your skin moisturized. If you have oily skin, go for matte foundations to control your oily zones. You don't have to follow this because even I go for matte foundations sometimes (I love the L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte foundation too!) but this is a general tip. How to Dye Hair from Black to Brown (Coloring Tips & Tricks) Bebexo 2015-06-05 | Hey guys, a lot of you want to know how I get that medium golden brown hair color that you see in my hair tutorials so here it is! How to dye your hair at home without using bleach. This tutorial is for those with black hair who want to achieve a light brown color. Thumbs up if this was helpful. :) In the video, I used a light brown box dye (L'Oreal Feria #60) but if you want a light ash brown with no warm undertones, go for an ash blonde shade that will cancel out most of the red tones. This hairstyle looks intricate but it was actually quite easy to do. The figure 8 weaving technique will work on those with medium to long hair. I love this hairstyle because it's great for prom and weddings (flower girl hairstyles) and you can dress it down for everyday, casual events.
