I built a new 6S racing drone for the 2018 MultiGP season. So far, I'm really happy with how it turned out. It is light weight, efficient, and super easy to service. Plus, it just looks cool!
This was my first full test flight, and it was over 4:30 long! I'm hoping that will translate to 2+ minutes of really hard racing without having to worry too much about voltage sag.
Resting voltage after this flight:
3.7 volts per cell
The Build:
- Floss v2.1 frame
- Brother Hobby 2207 1660KV motors
- Aikon AK32 35A BLHeli32 4-in-1 ESC
- PyroDrone F4 OSD
- DAL Cyclone 5045C (will be testing other props later)
- Diablo Hobbies 75C 1250 mAh 6S battery
- Foxeer Predator Micro (contrast boosted some for this video, since I haven't tuned it up in camera yet)
- TBS Unify Pro HV Race with AXII Stubby
- FrSky RXSR
Total weight = 290g + battery
