There's an easy way to fix lights that are on the fritz or just sections that are out.
1: match the lights of your tree with the same colored lights with strands that are "steady" or "solid" (non blinking).
2: To hide any variations and to make everything look cohesive, add 4-6 strands of matching "SoftTwinkle" lights by @christmaslightsetc , all of the major colors (and then some!) are available.
3: Decorate as usual and enjoy your relaxing, twinkling lights knowing you didn't have to send a tree to the dump and spend a ton of money replacing it!

#afterchristmasdecor #takingdownchristmas #christmastips #softtwinklelightsI added 400 FT of 💎 crystal garland 💎 to my upside-down Christmas tree 🎄A Sparkly Life for Me2022-12-24 | Here’s how I decorated my upside-down Christmas tree with almost no traditional ornaments! First, the 7.5 foot upside-down Christmas tree by Vickerman with 650 lights. Then I layered in an additional 420 SoftTwinkle Lights by Christmas Lights Etc. Up next? Metallic magnolia garlands by David Christopher’s and champagne glitter floral picks and sprays from past trees. The crystal beaded acrylic garland pieces were pre-cut and easy to hang, a collection of “Diamond” and “Gemstone” acrylic crystal garlands by ShopWildThings. A handful of thrifted and second hand snowflake and icicle ornaments for the top, and a handful of acrylic finial icicles and other faceted clear jeweled ornaments add some nice details. Last but not least- the tree base decorated with 2 matching tablecloths gathered along the base with gemstone covered reindeer flanking the base of the tree. Generally working out to be something like this:
102 Feet of Non-Iridescent “Diamonds” Acrylic Beaded Garlands (3’ Long) x 1 (SWT) 297 Feet of Non-Iridescent “Gemstones” Acrylic Beaded Garlands (12” – 44”) x 1 (SWT) 55” Metallic Magnolia Leaf Garland x 5 (David Christopher’s) SoftTwinkle Warm LED Lights x 6 strands (CLE) about 420 lights 7.5’ Upside Down Christmas Tree with 650 Warm White Lights (Vickerman) A handful of picks/sprays for the top, a few filler ornaments, and some sparkly icicle ornaments

I’m pinning all the latest DIYs and seasonal decor you may ever want! Pin with me: pinterest.com/TheSparkleQueenHow did Stable Diffusion AI do when I asked it to design a Maximalist fall bedroom?A Sparkly Life for Me2022-10-09 | Stable Diffusion did remarkably well when I gave it the tricky text prompt of maximalist autumn bedroom decor. Even when we layered in words like "bronze decor" or "apple green wall", we got great images.
This week we also looked at what "high res fix" may do if you select that option in Automatic1111. Needs more exploring later!
Overall, the bedroom decor that Stable Diffusion generated with what I would consider fairly easy and simple text prompts was perfect for fall and I could see a lot of looks being the source of inspiration for future autumn decorations.

I feel that way when I try looking for burgundy centerpieces, so I thought why not give Stable Diffusion a prompt asking it to design wedding centerpieces, specifically burgundy centerpieces, and see what it generates.
Most of the centerpieces were burgundy, some a little pinker, some even a tad on the red side, but overall Stable Diffusion did a great job rendering burgundy centerpieces.
As an Event Designer with over a decade of experience, I love having access to a tool like Stable Diffusion to help generate pictures and new ideas. Sure, not every picture it makes is great (yet!) but there are still some gems in the rough to be had.

It’s not quite sweater weather yet, and but not as brutally hot as it was in August. A fun way to transition into fall decorations is with an installation of firefly lights like this! Gorgeous over the TV, and would look even cooler over a fully dressed table, this easy DIY took me less then an hour to put together.
The faux greenery helps amplify the glow and give that nice grassy look without having to spend a fortune on arrangements. Be sure to look for greenery that drapes well for the optimal look, we don’t want anything that looks rigid and stiff for this design.

Halfway to the holidays? A cozy Christmas bedroom with rich patterns and rustic touches- who cares that it’s 100 degrees outside, we’re always dreaming of a white Christmas! Hints of plaid and tartan, soft textures that are soft to snuggle up on, and a statement arch make this look super fun and festive.
The best part of this look, is that whether you rent or own, this look can be achieved with minimal storage needed after the season, and won’t damage your walls/ceilings etc.
It’s never too early to start planning your decor for the holiday season, especially as shipping delays and shortages are still a concern. Lots of suppliers and vendors are making their 2022 holiday content available extra early, available for pre order, and some are even offering extra discounts in July. Not to mention the amount of inventory that has been reduced because it came in too late to sell in last years holiday season.

I had been looking for these for AGES! And now, I have created a sparkly Christmas installation with this beauty. Given that I was doing this in my home, in July, and not exactly in ideal situations, I decided to make the most of my space and make a signature drink station for your inspiration. Now I used what materials I had on hand so nothing had to be purchased to create this look, but this could be the base of a fun window display, store front holiday display, or even a photo booth if you expanded the concept more.

Lady Featherington did not fail to deliver in her debut ball. Her ballroom looked like a million bucks with all the ornate chandeliers suspended over the dancefloor, exotic tropical leaves and foliage dipped in gold, and how can we not include the rotating marble stage in the center of the dance floor for the orchestra to entertain from? Taking the golds, greens, and crystals we see in Lady Featherington’s ball, I’m challenging myself to create a modern wedding with the same extravagance that a Lady Featherington of today’s world would appreciate.

Since we’ll never know, here is my take on what the wedding between Kate and Anthony would look like, based off combining what we saw in season1 of Bridgerton when Simon and Daphne were married, in conjunction with the elaborate stylings Queen Charlotte herself picked out for the near wedding of her Diamond Edwina and Anthony Bridgerton. Now we just need to get some peacocks and some fireworks…..

Pin with me: pinterest.com/TheSparkleQueenDesigning a Party with the Charm of Lady Bridgertons Heart & Flowers BallA Sparkly Life for Me2022-04-21 | Lady Bridgerton’s Annual Hearts and Flowers Ball held at Aubrey Hall was a treat to watch in episode 4 of the latest season of Bridgerton. Not only did we have a beautiful ball to take in, but we also got a glimpse of the “behind the scenes” of a ball, from the characters point of view at least. We had a few scenes with Lady Bridgerton and Daphne as they oversee preparations for the ball.
In this video, my goal was to take inspiration from this countryside ball, and turn it into a semi-formal luncheon setting, perfect for a bridal shower, baby shower, lady’s birthday party, etc. Light pinks, soft purples, and lots of greenery are what this is look is focused around. We include DIY mood boards for creating a gorgeous flower photo walls, layered buffet tables, reusable platters and displays for your buffet, and wildflower themed tablescapes for estate tables and fold up tables.

True to the established regal palette of white, gold, and crystals, this ball was clearly hosted by the queen, and a wonderful setting for the new diamond to shine in. To give myself a bit of a bigger challenge, I took inspiration from both the ball as well as the regal tent shown the morning after where the Queen takes in the latest Lady Whistledown to create a luxurious outdoor soiree, perfect for an intimate crowd.

Lady Danbury is at it again, kicking off another season of Bridgerton with an extravagant evening to remember. A conservatory is the host to the opening ball, and it is filled to the brim with lush greenery and exotic plants, vines, and florals. As it so happens, a lot of the overarching colors are similar to what we saw in Lady Danbury’s ball in season 1 of Bridgerton; green, white, and gold. A classic and elegant trio. Season 2’s take on the Danbury Ball is more organic in nature, with almost overgrown foliage taking center stage, quite literally, as we see a massive vining chandelier as the focal point of the dancefloor.

The full length design boards with insider tips is available here: youtu.be/05CoCahVIGU
Could this be the most expensive design of my Decorate with Me Bridgerton series?
Quite possibly! But that’s mostly on account of us utilizing a large, peaked tent with fittings fit for, well a queen! Queen Charlotte’s garden party luncheon was one of the few non-ballroom soirees we saw in the first season of Bridgerton, and it did not disappoint! Layers of lux fabrics and perfectly manicured flowers were the highlight of this concept, utilizing bold color combinations of a deep rich purple and soft golds, with pops of a persimmon orange make this the most intriguing color palette to work with thus far.
Tents are a great option for gatherings on your property, or at a venue with a nice outdoor space. It’s easy to dress them up, especially for lunch functions where the focus doesn’t have to be as much on the tablescapes, and can focus more on the ambiance and surroundings, as people tend to mingle more at lunch functions then they would at a formal dinner.

To get all the details on the design, check out the full length video: youtu.be/ERlfnCl3gYw
What a ball this was! The Art of the Swoon was such a memorable episode in the first season of Bridgerton, and this ball made quite the impact. The design and colors are beautiful, but not flashy. Impactful, but not in your face. It's amazing to see what soft robins egg blues, creams, and a rich wood tone can do to make the characters really pop.
We're taking the inspiration from the Bridgerton ball, and creating a very DIY friendly afternoon soiree, perfect for luncheons, showers, or even Tuesday afternoons with the ladies. These designs can easily be translated into an evening function with some tealights (perhaps in a turquoise?) and a little mood lighting.

Pin with me: pinterest.com/TheSparkleQueenLoves Messy – Fluid Acrylic Inspired Valentine’s Day Tablescape and ActivityA Sparkly Life for Me2022-01-30 | Love is messy. Whether it’s learning to love yourself, romantic love, spreading love and kindness to others, love is never clear cut. But that’s ok! That’s part of the journey of life. And what better way to express that crazy, unpredictable experience then with fluid acrylic pouring? You may think you have all the colors picked out, the plan of design ready to go, but ultimately, the paint does whatever the heck it wants. You just try and guide it as best you can.
This messy acrylic pouring experience is perfect for sharing with anyone and everyone in your life that just needs a minute to relax and let go. There’s no wrong way to make fluid acrylic art, so just let go and enjoy the process. I find it to be quite relaxing, and I think you may too.

But here we are, with heightened senses of who may have coughed or sneezed in our general direction at any given time out in public. It’s stressful. It’s draining. If you were to tell me you wanted to stay in, but get out for Valentine’s Day, I would totally understand. Here’s how you are going to get out of the house, at least for a little bit, and get some fresh air, while spending time with the ones you love.
This colorful, conversation heart inspired picnic for Valentine’s Day is perfect for sharing with friends, family, or that special someone you cherish deeply. Creating your own craft cocktails with a fancy smoker, sipping them in gorgeous glasses, with some of the country’s best cheese, I don’t know what else you could really ask for. Except maybe the weather to cooperate. You’ll make it work! I believe in you!!!

00:00 – Intro and Inspiration 02:00 – Date Activity 04:00 – Backyard Picnic DecorYoure A Gem - Over the Top Valentines Day Decor - Reading NookA Sparkly Life for Me2022-01-26 | In the famous words of RuPaul, “If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love someone else.” That cannot be truer today than ever, with everything crazy going on in the world, it’s important we treat ourselves well, and surround ourselves in what brings us peace and makes us happy.
For me, it’s an over the top seasonal reading nook like what you see here. Inspired by the phrase, “You’re a Gem”, I love the fact that the saying could mean YOU (yes you reading this) are a gem and reinforces that affirmation in one’s mind. And it could also be a term for endearment for a loved one. Either way, I love the idea of a sparkly, gem filled Valentine’s Day decor. And since I am not up to doing another Valentine’s Day tree (which was gorgeous last year, check out the video!) I thought this would be a fun way to celebrate Valentine's Day this year.
Sparkly white roses, twinkling LED fairy lights, oversized red jewel ornaments, glittery red sprays, and red gem cascading picks framed by lush sheer burgundy panels are the highlight of this design.
