Well, after 4 long years, I’m finally back with a brand new remix
I’ll be honest that despite how short it is, this video has been a journey and a half for me, and I can’t believe I ever even finished it at all, considering how long I procrastinated on it. The idea first came to me from a joke livestream Cary made in early 2021, when jacknjellify hit exactly 696,969,696 channel views, resulting in a moment that felt very remix-worthy to me. I decided to make it my 69th video on my channel and end at exactly 69.696 seconds to keep in theme with the joke. Over time though, the idea evolved more and it basically turned into a tribute remix to everything related to carykh, and I must say he’s definitely one of my favorite youtubers. I started actually working on this remix in December 2021, and made most of the audio through out the first half of 2022. Then I fell into a slump and didn’t work on it much until finishing the audio last year. Then finally when this year’s summer rolled around, I had plenty of time to finish up the visuals. Regardless of how long it took, I’m proud of myself for still pushing myself to finish this after so long.
There are many song references within this remix, but the most obvious ones are “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley, “Hips Don’t Lie” by Shakira, and “Two Trucks” by Lemon Demon. Also, this is all no bgm except for the initial intro, and the madness which I guess has the two trucks instrumental there idk if that counts as bgm. I also want to be clear that the rickroll singing is NOT an AI voice, I used Cary’s time traveling video where he secretly rickrolled the audience and some of it was also made by just ytp-style sentence mixing.

Hello everyone, here is an old video of mine from August-September 2020 that I never finished.

I’m uploading it now because I do not plan on ever finishing it, the style is just too old and outdated in my opinion. The only thing I added recently was the falcon kick joke at the end, which I just put there because I had the idea for a long time and I thought it would be funny. Also the kick visual on the first part is totally fake lol.
That’s pretty much it, again, don’t ask me to finish this because I’m not going to, that’s why I’m uploading it as is.

Thank you all for making this possible! The collab took 4 months to make October 2015 - February 2016 After the release of this collab, seeing how this commemorates the 9 years of Sparta Remix, its uncertain what the actual fate of the so called fad... However, the same song has been done for every 9 years. Its so repeptitive and done many many times. Theres no telling what will happen when 10 years of this comes by, but it wont be a good future. Keaton Monger, the creator of the song, created this as a funny remix made for the website YTMND. However, thanks to its use, its been one of the most overdone thing on the internet. Many said sparta remixers from the past have learned to move on to other things, such as actual content or YTPMVs, while new ones stayed and made them day after day. This is argumentable and sad to know, but Sparta Remix is no doubt dying. So much for a repetitive 2 minute song with absolutely no key at all... I hope this message has gotten to you.
