In this video I show how this machine created buttonholes. I use stretch knits which can be one of the most challenging fabrics for domestic sewing machines to create buttonholes. I had the tension set on 3. for this test. Anytime you are creating buttonholes you need to do a test on the interfaced fabric just like your finished product. Then test the stitch width and length; test the tension and the amount of pressure on the presser foot. You are at the end of your project usually, so do this to ensure everything is perfectly setup for a successful looking buttonhole.
