Pascal Gilcher released a very convincing "per-object" motion blur shader (supported by an estimation of motion vectors) for use with ReShade. The result is some very nice looking real-time motion blur for Mirror's Edge with minimal artifacting.

I've modded the PS3 ISO to include binds for launching these levels and to display debug information. There is otherwise no other mod performed to make this work.
Compared to the per-pixel motion blur you can achieve nowadays in ReShade (technically not "per-pixel" but behaves similarly in quality), the native motion blur doesn't really hold up that well even when you consider that it has the advantage of actually having access to the velocity buffer. Cool that it can be done natively I guess?
Mirror's Edge Tweaks can install the cheat/trainer HUD packages for you, and includes a few useful command keybinds that can be configured within Tweaks. That being said, any of the cheats can be manually added as a bind in the 'TdInput.ini' file.
To enable cheats, type "exec cheats" into the console. To see all available cheats, type "cheatlist". Similarly with the trainer HUD, type "exec trainerhud" to enable it.

By default the benchmark is cut short to 54 seconds near the landing pad and closes the game shortly afterwards (despite there still being further camera keyframes!) - I've included a file that extends the matinee sequence to its full 90 seconds and quits to the main menu instead. If you'd rather this full version, you can grab that here (place it in the SP01 folder): mediafire.com/file/h9ldoap2s4upuzp/Escape_R1_Spt.me1/file

An optional mod for fixing the cutscene movies to restore missing language audio files has also been provided: moddb.com/games/mirrors-edge/addons/cutscene-movies-all-languages-fix
Working on an option to significantly increase the game's culling distance/LODs of various objects to reduce pop-in — this is managed globally, so no per-map modifications required. Useful for recording purposes and if you have the hardware to drive it, although most systems should handle it fine at the 62fps cap.
Added an extra bit to show a z-fighting fix I had in mind but needs further work.

Using the Mirror's Edge Tweaks/MEMLA method of installing custom maps provides a few benefits:
1. Official story maps are not replaced by the custom map
2. Many custom maps can be installed at once
3. Custom maps are stored in the same location as the game install
The only downsides are that the maps are launched as speedruns, and the inability to use chapter select for custom maps that use that system. You'll just be starting from the first spawn point. Not that big of a compromise IMO.

Cloth simulations (flags, construction tarps, strip curtain doors, etc.) in Mirror's Edge are simulated at a rate independent of the game's framerate, otherwise known as time-steps. By default, Mirror's Edge uses a value of 50 FPS for PhysX cloth simulations, which can appear choppy when using reaction time or when running the game above the 62 FPS limit. If playing at the default 62 FPS limit, change the PhysX FPS value to 62 FPS to match the simulation rate with the game's framerate to eliminate the frame pacing appearance of cloth simulations. Alternatively, double this value to 124 FPS if you want smoother simulations during reaction time too. If playing at uncapped FPS, set this value to whatever you want (max of 300 FPS).

Mirror's Edge with HDR injection via Special K. The HDR profile used here is based off a "Native HDR" equivalent with a brightness target of 460~ Nits (using remastered 10-bit render passes). Fun fact, Mirror's Edge was one of the few games at the time that was developed in 10-bit colour which allows access to this wider gamut (though this only extends as far to the UI). This video must be viewed on a HDR-compatible device to see its effects.

Mirror's Edge uses OpenAL for rendering audio. By default, the game will use the OpenAL driver that is distributed with a standard OpenAL installation, which happens to be a pretty poor implementation of OpenAL (it has also been defunct for a long time). This can be replaced with an actively maintained fork called "OpenAL Soft" and configured to enable HRTFs for accurate, 3D surround sound using only your stereo headphones. Sounds coming from in-front and behind will be distinctly different and even sounds coming from above or below will be clearly discernible. I have made a guide on how to get OpenAL Soft installed for Mirror's Edge here: pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Mirror%27s_Edge#3D_Surround_Sound.2FHRTF_Support
For reference, I'm using the irc_1037_48000 HRTF table in this demonstration. 1037 is generally agreed to work best with most people, however, your mileage may vary. An excellent video walks through all of the personalised tables so you can decide which one works best with you: youtu.be/VCXQp7swp5k
