MirageC3D printer on Servo Motors? HevORT & ClearPath testing spoilerMirageC2020-11-18 | Hey! its been a while! Lots of things going on with my projects.
Today I am testing the awesome Teknic ClearPath servo motors as an alternative to the stepper motors for the HevORT HeavyDuty XY gantry. This will open up a lot more possibilities for the HevORT product family.
In order to use and exploit some of the potential from the ClearPath the Heavy Duty 9mm and 12mm belt versions of the HevORT XY gantry have been released last month. Have a look: HD 9mm belts: thingiverse.com/thing:4629715 HD 12mm belts: thingiverse.com/thing:4625509

This is the latest addition to the HevORT. An entirely new concept of bed support points kinematics. While allowing for free movement of the print bed attitude, it is keeping the print surface very solid and stable during the print. This concept will be tested for non planar printing. 5Axis printing
