Solo is here to redefine what it means to get “full-range sound” from a single driver. Our first implementation of planar-magnetic driver required us to look to the past elevate the sound of this new, to us, technology. The final note in our legendary tia™ line of Universal In-Ear Monitors has been years in the making. This elegant new copper mesh faceplate and monogram grill cap off a technological marvel distilled to its simplest form.
Our extensive acoustic research led us to integrating a dual Helmholtz Resonator into the 14.2mm planar driver’s acoustic chamber. These target and reduce two very narrow frequency bands while an electronic filter tilts the high frequencies a bit to get all of the benefits of the planar driver without any of the sharp sounding down-sides.
These innovations are coupled with our apex-core technology and new Eight-Braid OCC Copper cables, enabling Solo to take a firm place in our range of high-resolution portable audio products.
