Today I am creating a beautifully colored STRAIGHT pour using Liquitex Basics Fluid paints. The simple recipe and colors used are listed below, as always. I'm also sharing my own recipe for mixing metallic gold and copper!

Today's colors were mixed with one part paint and four parts Floetrol (no additional water!):
Liquitex Basics Fluid Paint in Phthalo Blue, Phthalo Green, Payne's Grey, Turquoise, Light Blue, Aqua Green, White, Red Orange, Cad Yellow Medium, Silver, Burnt Umber, Magenta.
How to Mix Metallic Gold: 3 parts Cad Yellow Medium, 2 Parts Silver, 1 Part White and 3-4 drops of red orange. Add more drops until you get the color you like.
How to Mix Metallic Copper: 2 Parts Red Orange, 2 Parts Silver, 1 Part Cad Yellow Medium and 1 Part Burnt Umber (add more to darken, if desired).
