A 60-year-old man has died after an e-scooter crash in North York early Sunday morning, Toronto police said.
Officers were called to a collision near Driftwood Avenue and Jane Street around 1:40 a.m. Sunday after a 60-year-old man on an e-scooter crashed into a parked vehicle's open driver-side door, police said in a news release Tuesday.
Police said it was not clear yet how the man came to strike the open door. The owner of the parked vehicle, a 22-year-old man, remained at the scene.
